Is Myspace really a place for rapists/perverts to go and find victims? even though no adresses are shown??

I love myspace and I am so tired of hearing them get a bad rap. Myspace is only getting this reputation because parents don't feel like parenting their own children. Television use to be the parent's babysitter, now its the computer. If you don't like what your child is doing there are parental controls. If you don't like where your child is going or who he is hanging out with...tell them NO. What happened to actually raising your own children? I am sorry, this is obviously a HUGE pet peeve of mine. I will shut up now.

They find vicitms because kids are stupid enough to tell them where they live. If a parent was watching these kids, it would not happen. I think that it is funny that people jump on myspace, but there must be at least a dozen websites that have provided the same service for many years.

I think just like any other website, you should always monitor your child's activity online.
