I love garage sales and yard sales. This weekend kicks off the start of garage sales in our area. They are having an indoor garage sale for charity in our local Handicapped Society building. I cannot wait. Do you frequent garage or yard sales? What are you particularly looking for?

I love garage sales. They haven't started up in my area yet but I'm eagerly waiting. I love to go through boxes of books at garage sales. I'm an avid reader and collect more than a few different authors. I've found some pretty old books too that are neat.

I also love garage sales, yard sales and flea markets. I never go looking for anything in particular, but I do love to pick up unique knick-knacks.

I am not allowed to bring home any more knick knacks. We have way too many.

I do like garage sales. I find nice clothes for the kids, and lots of other things to decorate the houses. I hope I will still be able to go to as many. With the price of gas so high, it might make it a little rough.

I like garage sale. This year is cold, so all garage sales are going to probably start late. I like garage sale, but I am not looking for anything in particular. I like deals, but I only buy things that I need for sure. I am going to run my garage sale in May, I have so many items that I no longer need.

Ours (in town here) are in May. This one is a charity one and it is indoors. I wish that people would come to my garage sales. We aren't known well enough in town. It is very small (746 people) and we have only been here for 1 1/2 years.

You an place an add on Craig list and in local health club, school. I was able to sell goods for over $700 last year. Most people search on Craig list.

I am having a garage sell this weekend myself. My, my sister and my mom. I have a bunch of books and movies I want to get rid of. I haven't really been to any myself in a long time. I think we will do ok. There is a red light right by where I live.

I love a bargain and the thrill of going shopping when you never know what you'll find. That's why I love thrift stores too. I've just moved here to Ohio a few months ago, so I've not been to any garage sales here. When I lived in MN they were a really big deal. People started holding them on Fri, then to beat the rest some moved it up to Thurs and finally the bulk of them started on Wed. Most were very well organized, not 'trashy' at all. It was great!

If they start on Wednesday, I go on Wednesday or the 'last' day. Depends what I am looking for. If I want a deal, I go the last day. I love organized garage sales

I love garage/yard sales. They're so much fun to go to, enjoy nice weather and see random people. I like rummaging through piles or boxes of things in search for something that I never realized I couldn't live without. haha. More or less, it lets the cheapskate in me have free reign. I'm also a fan of thrift stores, for this reason. :P

I LOVE garage sales! I love buying little knick knacks and books. But if hubby sees one and I'm in the truck with him, he drives by as fast as he can so that I don't even get a chance to get a good look. LOL!

all I have is garbage so I do not have sales myself and you know I don't like garage sales, I have yet to see anything in one that I would actually want. So I just don't go.
