You like the desktop or laptop?

i prefer ease of use when using a desktop...i feel awkward using a laptop,even though its easy to carry around..i still prefer to use desktop computer and its also cheaper to upgrade unlike laptops...

Depends on the purpose. I like my desktop because I can store more on it, that's where I keep my large files, pics, games, and things like that. I LOVE my lap top, because I can take it with me whereever I roam. I can work on my writing ahile waiting in the docs office. I can complete my school assignments while traveling. I wouldn't choose one over the other.

Hi UntrueLife, currently I am using a desktop. Recently I do a lot of moving and I finally to realize that it is handy. Moreover, it is more convenient to have laptop as I could use it at anywhere and anytime as well. Whenever I go outstation I am always used to surf net in the cyber café if there is any nearby. The charge there usually is higher especially in the trading center or tourist sites. I have been using my present desktop for nearly a year so it is not nice for me to shift to using a laptop now, unless someone is willing to buy my desktop.

i have a laptop now, but i prefer a desktop. coz laptop is easier to get something wrong than desktop. my laptop always haves little problems, it really drives me crazy sometimes, especially when it can't work normally. it's said desktop has longer lifetime than the laptop. i will see if my laptop would die sooner than my roommate's desktop. :)

I also like the laptop a whole lot better. I mean it is a big plus that you are able to carry it around. I love that fact but then I just like the fact that it is smaller and you have better space availability on your desk now instead of a huge monitor and then a modem under your desk or however some do it. It just more space and I enjoy my space.

carry is not always the problem. I think both laptop and desktop have their own importance. If u need that ur PC should be faster than now. Then desktop is prefeble. But if ur work is for moving from a place to another and u required a pc with u then u prefer a laptop. I think my answer is very diplomatic. But u have to see ur requirement just for carry or faster processor.

I prefer laptop, not only because of the mobility that you can carry it anywhere you want. The best of it is you can be online at any places that have wireless internet access, very convenient...

I like the laptop too. For me, I travel more so a laptop would be more convenient for me to carry. I also don't need a very powerful laptop, just enough to surf the web, do video conferencing, check my email, write some text documents and watching videos...So a lightweight laptop is good for me.

I like desktop because you can upgrade it.you can attach subwoofer speakers to listen to soung with real clarity.you can put webcam and mic and enjoy messenger.besides the processing speed of desktop is faster than a laptop.

I prefer laptops as well, they're portable and cost less in maintenance afterwards. Plus I hear the PC uses more electricity than a laptop does.

The desktop it is much better,and why? because you can change the pices of him when there are out of use,because you can play a lot of games without be disturbed of small proportion of the laptop.

laptop all the way it can go with u every where. its light and u can do about the same things tht u can do on a desk top. u not need to have it pluged in all the time, u can get on the net if u find a wireless signal, watch movies on it. thts some of the reason tht i would choose a laptop over a desktop.

i also prefer laptop, because it is alot more convenience to use, plus you could use your neighbor's internet connection and carry every where in your house. hehehe
