Crime and Punishment or The Trial

I've read both of these novels. They are both quite similar in nature. I prefer Crime and Punishment; however, The Trial is deeper. Any opinions.

I have the Crime and Punishment, but could not get time to read. I have read The Karamazov Brothers though! I think I shall read the novel two months later. Quite busy nowadays with some other books.
