How important are birthdays?

Not much! but since we need to have some reason to celebrate we celebrate them. And since they become a good reason to celebrate & an opportunity to meet our dear ones.. they are important!! lol

yes they are important. the day u were born. to thank God so taht u are safe for another b'day. and ofcourse to celebrate with ur loved ones

I've never made a big deal out of mine. But, I do enjoy making big plans to celebrate my wife's or daughter's.

As I get older, I find that the only birthdays that matter to me are my kids' birthdays. Milestone birthdays are also fun, though, like 50, 65, etc.

you know, the older I get the less important they become - I'd like to have one good one though - my bdays usually stink.
