What is your thoughts on the current gas prices? My man is a trucker for a small company, he is worried for himself as well for others. Threats of strike and all. To one of those truck is huge! And if it's too high, then what is the produces they ship in to places going to cost us?Milk, pop, books, breads, flour, sugar, clothes are going to be high plus alot more. My plans is to put out a large garden and save every penny i can get to have for extras. Not to buy anything for fun for a while. And only get the have to havees. What about you? My car takes 25 dollars to go 60 miles, which is a trip to town and back. 10 dollars to warm it in the mornings and go to the school bus stop every day ,once in the mornings and once in the evenings. I would let my kids walk there, but I can't due to the road not being safe for them to walk it at any time. How are you going to deal when it reaches 5 bucks?

I was talking about just this thing yesterday with my husband. He drove truck for years and years, so he knows what they are going through. I about jumped out of my skin when I saw the price of diesel yesterday. Yes, the increase in gas prices affects literally everything around us. There is probably no product that we use that isn't on a truck at some point, so of course that will affect those prices as well. Even intangible items will go up, because business owners are feeling the pinch as their total overhead increases right along with the gas prices. There really is nothing untouched by this ...
