Do you like to eat Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies? They are my husband's favorite kind. I'm going to start baking them shortly. Do you add anything to them like raisins or nuts?

I love oatmeal cookies! Sometimes I like raisins, sometimes I like them plain, but I always love icing on them! xD

Icing sounds good and Bob never gains weight, so he can eat anything. This might cover up the missing raisins. Thanks for the reply.

I love raisins also. The bad part I didn't buy raisins at the grocery store and knew a trip to the grocery store would be a bad idea when I'm hungry. I'm taking Bob to Red Robin tonight and they have big plates of food. I always need a box for leftovers. Thanks for the reply.

Thanks for the reply. I'm hanging my head, as forgot the raisins. Bob doesn't like nuts, so always skip them. I put them is a fancy red box with handles, so he can use the box for storage in the future.

We love oatmeal chocolate chip with raisins cookies in my house. I haven't baked cookies in a long time. Maybe, I will bake some of these tonight.

Not too much of a chocolate chip person, although that sounds good for those that do. I am more of an Oatmeal Raisin person. I love getting them from the bakery at Kroger (local region grocery store) Then, me being internally fat (I'm fat on the inside lol) I bring them home and slap butter on them, then warm them in the microwave. I have to be careful, if I get too heavy-handed with the butter, I'll have to eat the cookies with a spoon!!!

I could just see Bob eating them with a spoon that would be funny. I'm getting hungry just reading these posts and I gain weight just looking at food. Thanks for the reply.

I always put chopped walnuts in. If I put raisins in with the chocolate chips they don't like that - it's either raisins OR chocolate chips. I also like to get different flavors of chips like the peanut butter. I prefer oatmeal chocolate chip to regular chocolate chip. I must think I'm eating something slightly more nutritious that way!

Thanks for the reply. That is funny about nutritional value, as Bob couldn't care less about healthy. He is so lucky, as I have to read every food label. He weighs the same today, as he did 31 years ago when we met each other. Bob does like chips and I have a bag sitting on the counter. I may do more baking tomorrow, if the ground is still wet. Its to wet to deal with plants.
