So why is Robin so special that she expects "do as I say, not as I do"

So how come no one - especially Carly - has blown the whistle on Robin for her self righteous arrogance of perfection she displays!??!? I mean, she took it upon herself to blow the whistle on who was Michael's father, then later pulled the same stunt on Spencer's real dad. Well, now that she is pregnant, she was going to do the same thing and keep the father a secret for her baby. Had all her excuses and reasons of why, but was doing exactly what she trashed others for doing. Just another reason why I wished they'd can her and not some of these others like Monica, Alan and Georgie.

I am completely on board with you on this one. As much as I start to like Robin, I always end up pulling back with all her I am better than you talk and then she ends up doing just the same things. Oh and her excuse... "I wasn't looking at this from the same perspective" Is just dumb!

Yeah, it is one of those times when you need to shut up and stay out of it as you haven't a clue as to what is going on. Robin should have minded her own bees-wax! I was hoping that she'd keept he secret and then Carly blow the whistle on her so she could see the errors of her ways!

Saint Robin did sort of address this today. Kind of "who am I to say you're wrong" when she was talking to Liz. Also, they did use protection. It broke. For some reason, Robin is a sacrosanct whiny princess. She will never be killed or canned until the actress is ready for another break.

Yeah, your right. We'll just have to endure - me and the mute button are very well acquainted!

I can see Robin's point of view very cleary. Patrick didn't want a kid so why bother him. She felt like if she told him he would feel OBLIGATED. She wanted him to want a baby not feel obligated to it. There is a big differance. I get her point on it. I know she told about Michael, but why was Carly hiding it from AJ? I don't quite remember.

If she didn't want to "bother" Patrick with a baby or have him feel obligated, she should have been more careful with birth control and made sure she wouldn't get pregnant when she decided to use Patrick to satisfy her sadness. She knew he didn't want a child, yet she continued to sleep with him. Just spinning that Russian roulette wheel and then "poor me" when it settles where she didn't intend. They didn't tell AJ as he was a rather hateful person - made that way by the family always trashing him and not giving any help. She didn't want to bother AJ with a chld cause his life was out of control.

It is written that way. And I would say the writers know what they are doing. She has now revealed to the world, who the father is and I knew it was going to be Patrick because why else write it in the show. I don't like that they got rid of some of the characters, especially Georgie. She was so sweet and I think that the writers may have made a mistake getting rid of her. But like I said, the writers know what they are doing and since they have millions of viewers they must be doing right.
