What is the longest you have gone without sleep?

1 day = 24 hrs not more

Almost 3 days and then I slept for about 16 hrs. I was in the hospital and could not sleep at all.

Wow. 24 hours is my max...how did you pull off 48 without falling over?? lol

Two days for me, too. And even at that, I am not myself. Funny, I posted this same question before I read yours!

I work the GY shift and so I ahve missed a lot of sleep...once I held down a second job and only got 2 hours a day for a week....I shouda joined the SEALS!!!!!!!!

probably just under 48 hours. Waited and waited for my cousin (like a brother to me) to have his 1st set of twins born. OH it took forever but was so well worth the wait!

I did not sleep for 36 hours and I could not continue that as I felt slightly sleepy. These 36 hours, I was doing one work or the other. Mostly I was involved in the exhibition display work and that had to be completed by night. The work went on from early morning, through afternoon, through night and next day evening. But then I slept for 20 hours after the event.

about 3 days as far as I can remember. Although I usually just keep going til I pass out since I don't sleep much anyway.

I'm think is 40 hours without even a nap, this happened when I was in the final exam of my degree. :)

honestly I think it is less than 24 hours. I suck at trying to stay up.

Around 72 hrs, then I get pretty useless.

the longest 40 hours of my life......during my previous examination...... that was a bad experience..... i expect to do so this month too.....more exams coming up.........

About the same amount of time as you but perhaps in the 50 some odd hour range, which I attempted just over ten years ago.
