Discussions...ever wish you had'nt written that discussion?

I think most of us have been guilty at one time or another or creating discussions, hitting that response button and thinking OMG, I didn't just post that did I? or when then responses come in you realize just what a pandoras box you've opened! I've done that, I did a discussion about being judgemental on this woman buying too many scratchcards and I got told basically STOP being so judgemental and you weren't thinking properly when you submitted that discussion! And yes I do wish there was an edit and delete button!

I wish there was a 'whoops I didn't mean to send that - can I recall it button'. That would be most useful. At a meeting in my boss's office on Wednesday I heard of a very unfortunate incident where a disgruntled colleague had said in an email 'doesn't that silly cow know what she's doing?' and yep, you guessed it, thje reply got sent on to the woman in question. Seems like we've lost a client there!

Yes I wish they had a delete button for our own discussios so I can delete the questions know one responded to.

I'm sure we all have...I loved the picture for this discussion. Cute...and so appropriate.

I haven't really come to think of it. Sometimes though I wish I had ranted about one thing or another especially when I was drunk mylotting which I have only done a few times!

I haven't actually wanted to delete a discussion I have started as such but once posting have thought that I could have worded it a better way or realise I have missed something out that I should have put in. There is no edit button either so any typing and spelling errors are out there for everyone to see. Ellie :D

There used to be, even until now I have a recent post that I wish I never had posted and written here. The reason, nobody even responded to it.. Sometimes, there are also some minor misuse of words that I put in and that's where most people would misinterpret and take it the other way around. But I guess that's how things go here, we cannot always please everybody..

Hello axle_shockhits!:-) Though I think that I have never regretted any of my inputs here, as such, but I did wish to get some of my posts and comments deleted mainly due to concerns of my other friends. One of my discussions remained untouched for around 5 months and it irritated me somehow and I did wish it to be removed but then someone finally responded to it and I resolved the discussion. In one discussion, real identity of one of my friends was revealed, though it would have required a little work and attention to find it but still I didn't felt it right and asked mylot to delete the discussion which they did. I have also one of my recent comments got deleted at my request and one more may get deleted tomorrow. None of above was out of regret but out of other concerns . They might have rested without any real problem happening but then, friends are to care!

Yes, there was one of my discussion that I did when I was very new in mylot. I wished I hadn't written that discussion and I wished mylot had a 'delete discussion' button that I can use. Though I received a lot of positive and eye opening responses, I still felt that the discussion was a stupid one.

I would like to delete my discussions with no responses! I do think there should be a delete button next to it. I cannot say I am embarrassed, only that two of mine never got any replies! So I would delete those two.

yes my discussion on are you brave enoough to stand up for nonsmoking and I set of a third world war over this and now i wish to heaven I could just delete it and forget allaboutg it entirely.let the smokers smoke themselves silly whyshould I care anymore. i am sick of the whole thing.
