I have long established that I want two children. A boy and a girl. I do not bear pain well and the thought of having to do it twice makes me shiver. So I have also come up with my own solution. I want twins. Thats more like using one stone to kill two birds. One pregnancy to fulfill my dream. Wow. Please dont wake me. Let me enjoy this dream. I will read and respond to your comments when I awaken. Dreams do come true dont they? Wouldnt you want the same? On second thoughts...maybe this was also your dream. No problem tell me about the reality. Only let me dream for now.zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

OK...warning- dream over when you read this... I have twins. I love them both to pieces. But being pregnant with twins was the WORST experience!! I loved being pregnant when I was pg with each of my older girls. But, pg with twins and I was SICK from day one until the end. It was horrible! I was on bed rest for a few weeks in the end- which is good, many moms end up on bed rest for months. But, it was because I went into preterm labor- two or three times when all was said and done. Then, to top it off, I had to have a c-section due to twin A being stubborn and not turning around. I bawled and bawled because I wanted it to be another natural childbirth. (probably not a big deal to you..lol). That all said, I love them SO much and I do not regret having them. It is ALOT of work having two babies at once, but you do what you gotta do. And they are just too cute all bundled up in blankets sleeping next to eachother in a little bassinet. ok, go back to dreaming now if you like. :)

Above31rubies I would not hire you to announce a sad news to a grieving family anymore than I will hire you to awaken me from my dream again. Now you have sent me into a state of total shock. Ok so I know it wouldnt be easy but did you have to do such a good job of being so graphic? Thats a bit to chew on though. Awwwwwwwwww. Why does it have to be so hard? Thanks for the shake up. (lol)

Oh sorry I had you believing I was upset. Far from it. Luv did get me started. She was the first to stir my slumber but you had me wide awake with my eyes popping (smile) lol. I have a favor to ask of you. If ever such a thing becomes possible (zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz) do send me some of your twin bearing ability. (lol) One child is a challenge. One boy is more of a challenge. But two boys is a double challenge (lol). Never-the-less, child rearing is just about one of the most challenging but rewarding/fulfilling role that we have in this life.

You made me do a double take on this. THREE PAIRS OF TWINS! Did I hear you correctly? Amazing Rhane. Amazing. Do you suppose you were maybe a littlte more deep in sleep than I was when you responded? I am going to judge that you were. Now that you are awake, I bet your dream as changed. Right? Ok then. I thought so. (lol)

That's funny because I also want twins. But I want both of them to be boys. I don't know if that will ever happen but hopefully it will. I've always dreamed of having twin boys and I don't know what do I have that fascination with them but I just do.

(Smile) Its good to dream. It might just come true Ayumi. If we let go of our dreams we might just become women most miserable. Two boys at the same time is a brave dream in my opinion. Salute. (lol)

Yeah I know they will be a hanful but I like the challenge. But I think it's easier to raise boys than girls. Because girls have all these needs and stuff and you really have to look out for them more than the boys.

Lets dreaming :)) I have been waiting for 8 years to have a kid, but still cant get it. Since my age is counting every day, so that I always pray to God please give one time pregnancy & then I'll take care of my baby very very carefully (even its hard....I know). Even from the bottom of my I want 2 children, so now I add to my pray that the one time pregnancy is having a twins boy & girl....amin

Even with twins you will still have to go through childbirth twice. You will deliver the first one and after all the contractions then your contractions will start again and you will have to deliver another one and you will be tired from haveing the first one. I do not handle pain well but I have had two children with no problems I had no pain medicine the entire time of childbirth I had both my kids completely naturally.

Oh thats right. I forgot that aspect of it. Two separate efforts. Ok. Ahmmmmmm....(fnger tapping, head scratching). I'll think about it some more but I still want those twins so maybe I'll start strengthing my mind and body from now. Thanks for that reminder Luv. I'll be sure to make it a part of my dream so that it takes on a more real time nature. (lol)

I once thought the same thing - and twins run in both mine and hubbys families - so it could have happened. My 2 are bad enough and they are a year and a half apart. I cant imagine having twins. As far as giving birth-I would do it again if I thought I could handle more kids. The thought of childbirth doesn't terrify me nearly as bad as the thought of facing 2 three year olds everyday. "Why?" coming from both sides -- that makes me shiver!

Hands down to you for being up to challenge of going through another pregnancy if you could have handled more kids. I know raising both children might be a handful but hey I'll invest the energy of a second pregnancy in that. I remember trying to assist a mother with her twins once. She was a stranger but you could see that the two boys were a handful. Boy they made her cry that day. I still want my twins though. You know what Schilds I just pray they will not be too much for me to handle. (lol)
