We got married in 2004, but we met in 1995! Well, I am glad we waited. It gave us time to grow together.

I think that it is great that you two decided to wait that long to get married because a lot of people get married now and they wind up getting a divorce or something later on down the line and that is never good for anyone...I think that more people should wait a while after they meet and get together before they plan on getting married to make sure that that is what they want so that there is no regrets in the future...good for you and good luck in the future with you and your husband....

Yes, I agree. However, it seems my parent's generation was different. My mom and dad married pretty soon after they met and they are still together. I don't know, I am not a marriage expert. I think for me and my husband, it's the openness and trust that keeps us going. Believe me, we have our problems!!!

Congrats! LOL I met my husband waaaaaay back when we were in the 5th and 6th grade (no clue what year that was), but we got married in October 1995. :O)
