I don't care to be photographed, Vanity has a definate play in that sensitivity. My son, however, who is 4, wants to be photographed all the time!!

I would rather be the one behind the camera, not in front of it lol. I have two boys and one loves his pic to be taken and the other is just like me. My dog loves to have his taken, or at least it seems that way ~ he gets really excited when the camera comes out and seems to pose like crazy for it lol. It is so funny to watch him do this.

THat is really cute about your dog! What kind of dog is it? I have been watching a show, I never did get the name of it, but they have dogs in a contest like runway, acting, behavior.... You'd think the really cutesy toy breeds would win, but the acting one was a large breed dog and he won the cover of some pet magazine. I have a pomeranian mix and I was really blown away that they picked the large dog. Still, he was fantastic! He posed like a pro!! So is your dog a large or small breed? Have you seen this show, I wondered what the name is. I haven't seen it lately.

I hate that all the pictures of my family are taken by me and I am the one who is missing in all of them. I feel vain asking my husband to take a picture of me with the boys, and also, I love taking the pics too. I have just decided to step up and make sure that I am in them. I have started asking him and he doesn't seem to think any less of me. I love my hubby! ;~)) Thanks for posting!!

I love when my man gets the camera out and asks me to pose for him. I know he loves to take my picture and it makes me feel even more beautiful and sexy!

How young? My youngest is 4 and has been posing for the camera since he was able to recognize himself in the display screen! He is such a ham and I love it. I have really had a blast taking pics of him and his brother, but his brother is much more shy and must be in motion in order to let me take his pic. Also, he won't smile with his teeth into a camera. Isn't that strange? I wonder why, but he can't explain anything more than "that's just how I smile for a camera". I have to sneak the camera out while he is really smiling and take a teeth pic. Do you think that's troublesome? A sign of alow self esteem? I hope not. He's quite handsome.

I don't like to be photographed. I don't like to see how much I gained weight in the last 3 years.

AAAHHHHH VANITY.... I am exactly the same way. I think that you may be sorry one day, when you look through the pages of your family photo album and find all these pics of your kids and their dad but none of you and them. I think that you will certainly regret not having taken more pics with them. When you are gone, they will not be sitting around saying "oh look how much weight mom gained. They will treasure those pics always. Have you gotten to a point where you have considered this yet? I just did a few months ago.

No I hate being photographed. But now as I am getting older, I have decided that I should have more photos of myself before I get to wrinkly. Just for memories sake.

Everyone thinks that about themselves ~~ well everyone except my 4 yr old. Even my 11 yr old, who is a very handsome boy, thinks he does not look good in pics. Why is that? well, thanks for posting.

I bet that's not true at all. Probably you take great pics or you would hate it like the rest of us, but we appreciate you not bragging about it....tehehehe. Humble and photogenic is a truly rare and beautiful combination. In the future, when you have all these pics to look back on of your friends and your family, you will be glad you weren't put off by it. You will be glad you had the pics taken. Good for you! How many pics have you taken, would you say?

I hide. If it's a group pictue, I'm standing on tip-toes in the back row. (I'm really short and they always move me to the front.) No vanity here. My family photographs have so few of me, you wouldn't know I belong to the family.

See~~ that's me too. I have tried to hide from the camera for so long that now I am shy in front of it. But I have decided that when my boys grow up, they will see me in the pics as well as their dad! More vanity? Ok ....fine. I'll cop to it. LOL Always good to see ya,Jellen! Thanks for chatting.

did you know that the ones that you aren't posing for are usually the best turn-out! I don't like it when my children pose for pics, (of course I let my 4 yr old) because of the red-eye that comes from looking straight into the camera, and the closeness just doesn't look genuine. I love to snap them while they are eating a popcicle outside on the hammock together, or riding their scooters in front of the house. They almost never do the pose thing. You might look at the ones you have taken without posing through a stranger's eye and consider what you might think from a distance. THanks so much for posting.

Do you know why? Is there a reason you don't like being photographed? I don't like seeing how much I have changed, how much weight I might have gained or how many wrinkles are showing today, or even maybe I just didn't wear the most flattering clothes or didn't comb my hair first (ya know hair is everything to a girl...lol). Why don't you like it? Is it the posing or the finished product, do you think?
