Saving posts to blogs incase of loss....need help

I have been with BLooger for some time, and used to save the posts as they suggested. Now, since that new changed they did with Google, it doesn't give that option, atleast I don't see if if it is there.
Anyway, I used to save them all that way and when it stopped, i stopped saving my posts to Notepad for future reference or incase of loss.
I recently heard someone say blogger closed their blog or lost some posts or something and they now had none of their work! Which made me think, I'd loose all my posts and all my own info cause I have not been saving.
So...any suggestions on how to get all my posts copied to Notepad or Word other than just literally going all the way back and doing a C&P of each and every blog post in all 7 of my blogs? Thanks for any helps!

If I do this, what happens? I save the Source code and then should Blogger crash or something that would case me not to be able to get my posts, I would type the Source Code into the browser bar and it would take me......
I am pretty ignorant about this, but want to do something so that I have record of my blogs - since I wrote them - and have them incase I need to use them elsewhere or put them back on blogger or something.

i suggest that you send your posts to your email account... go to setting then email settings and "BlogSend Address" enter your email/s so that your every post will be send to your email... i think that is the easiest and the best way to back up your posts...

I have that already, but hadn't thought about using it for this reason. Thanks for mentioning that as an option. I will start that from now on. I just have so many already there that I didn't keep! Well, at least half my battle is done - I have the 'future' part taken care of! Thanks!
