What is your absolutely favorite Metallica song? Why? Have you seen the Metallica S&M concert? If so, what did you think of it? Personally, my favorite Metallica song is Enter Sandman. The whole vibe of it just gets me. When I first heard of the S&M concert, I thought it would be terrible. Of course, I had to watch it out of curiosity. I actually really liked it. The symphony added that extra depth to the songs. Gave it amore sinister (for lack of a better term) feel.

I like them all, but 'nothing else matters' and Sanitarium bring me good memories. I haven't seen the concert but i like that extra depth of tone added by the orchestral elements. i know some people rip the band for selling out or switching their musical genres, but hey its better than current bands where every song basically sounds the same but with different lyrics ;)

When it comes to favorite song I am split between For Whom The Bell Tolls and One. From Ride The Lightning and AJFA (...And Justice For All) Albums. But in the end I have to give it to For Whom The Bell Tolls, the first few minutes of the song are mind blowing.

I really like "Orion" off master Of Puppets just because it really shows off their musicianship. Three guitar solos and a bass solo really made it a great song for me, but that thing that I really like about that song is the middle section with the harmonizing guitars. I think that section is probably Metallica's greatest section of any of their songs, its simply amazing to me. My favorite song from the S&M concert is probably "The Call of Ktulu" because the symphony made it sound even more epic. The song alone is amazing but the symphony took it to a new level.
