Do you keep your eyes closed when you are kissing your lover?Do you ever opened your eyes once to check out if your partner is closing his/her eyes too?
"Don't trust a lover who kisses you without closing their eyes.",I read these words somewhere.I didn't pay much attention at them at first.I always close my eyes when I am kiss with my boyfriend.Then one day tried it out on a guy who turned out to be a great cheater.When we were kissing ,I suddenly opened my eyes and found that his eyes were wide open!Then I tried several times on him,he seldom closed his eyes when we were kissing.I didn't meant that these words fit everyone,but they did fit on him.He turned out to be a big liar fooling around with several other girls besides me at the same time.
Do you believe these words?Do you think they make sense?

hehee,in movies almost the lovers close their eyes when they kiss each other as if it is a kind of enjoyment. I think most girls close their eyes ,but i cannot make sure if the boys have the same action to girls. I have asked my boyfriend.He said that sometimes he closed his eyes sometimes not.But i'm sure he love me so much.

i agree with this idea. i definitely close my eyes when i we have a kissing session with my girlfriend. it is unusual to caught someone who kiss you without closing their eyes. this means they cheat your heart might be betrayed or not serious on your relationship. so far when i suddenly open my eyes during our kissing i found my girlfriend close her eyes while kissing to me. that would be a great feeling.

I don't agree entirely. I do close my eyes for some of the time I'm kissing, but I like to look at the face of the person I'm kissing, so occasionally open them. I also feel quite flattered if they do the same thing once in a while. It means to me that they're kissing me, and not imagining I'm somebody else!

I don't know how trust would be related to this. I have tried opening my eyes out of curiosity. Guess what - the girl also had her eyes open! LOL. It didn't mean we were both cheaters. We were just at the "exploring stage" and had a lot of curiosity.

this is a first for me. ive never cheated on anyone ive dated but I have kissed with my eyes open before. so personally I dont think this is true lol but its a first. so I think ill keep my eyes closed for now own because I know its some women out there who will follow superstions like this lol*not all women so dont attack me lol*.

I also feel the way that you do gxnfly.I believe that one closes his/her eyes while kissing not deliberately but it just happens.You feel for the other person and while you're kissing him/her you tend to feel that kiss to which is quite personal in nature and you tend to enjoy it more.But if your eyes stays open while kissing someone you sure don't feel a dime for that person and that's why your eyes are open while kissing someone.

It does make sense but i am not sure if it's true because for me my bf sometime close and open and i do the same thing too but we both love each other. In my opinion when kissing its a moment especially your fist kiss and romantic moment with your love one we tend to really close our eyes because we feel the magic but as the relationship goes on you do sometimes close and open your eyes and sometime look your special someone how they kiss you so you can picture out and kept it in your memory his/her face while kissing you . Maybe what had happen to you and that word is just a coincidence and maybe the truth is your bf is just a natural liar it's not something to do with the word... and maybe your not really meant for each other ...... just a thought! Nice thread. Nope, I don't believe it has the correlation. Cheating priority reason is about losing security in one self towards the one he/she trusted.
He opened his eyes, maybe he can add the sensation for himself, by watching your face when you are kissing with him. LOL.

yeah i close my eyes , once like i swear only once i was sitting in the lounge room on the college campus where i stay right , and im watching the tv , so this couple sits behind and their making out , yeah nothing to me , but as i turn to look the dude has his eyes Poped open like its natural to him ...weird its just isnt right it creeped me out , and it still does

I always close my eyes when kissing my boyfriend. To be honest, I didn't open my eyes to check, but only because I heard a noise. When I watched him he had his eyes closed and yea we were still kissing haha. Actually I've figured he always closes his eyes. I believe that quote is a good one to stick by. I had a boyfriend who used to kiss with his eyes opens. Now how did I know this? He gave himself away! He told me one day he likes it that I close my eyes when we kiss. Turns out he was lying to me about many things but I don't know if he was cheating on me too.
To be honest I feel closing your eyes puts you in a whole other world on its own. It seems sorta magical.

LOL! great question BTW! I guess I never thought of it. But I have seen movies where the guy ( a cheater) Have been looking at other girls while kissing his. I suppose there is some truth to it...ie. art imitating life.

I think that the whole ideal of the situation is saying that a man who does not close his eyes is not solely thinking of you. Is not solely with you or does not solely care for you as you may care for that person. Whether this can also be said about women who keep their eyes open is beyond me.
My Fiance kept his eyes open and one day I asked him why, and he told me because he doesn't want to stop looking at me. I thought it was the sweetest thing, I know he doesn't cheat and I know he never will as well.

To tell the truth, I am laughing when I reading your words. In my opinion, the ones who open their eyes when they are kissing their lovers are fun. And you, who is trying to find the authenticity is a lovely one.
I could not help to laughing once I think of the scene that two persons kissing by their eyes open!
That's fun, but I think if this happen on me, I will give the guy a kick! Maybe should I need to make a test on my husband?

I agree with you.This sentence has different meaning for different people. Someone kiss with eyes closed because of its shy. My girlfriend is one of these types.She is a nice girl and very kind of me. so judge the facts with your own eyes . haha So the meaning of opening eyes sometimes is doubt.

I don't know really, me and my boyfriend have had this discussion before. Because mainly we'll both close our eyes but I think he caught me with mine open once or twice and questioned me :) But I'm not a cheater at all lol! I would never ever cheat on someone. And I do like him a lot so it can't be that either. I think it was just once or twice that I, wanted to look at him maybe. I dont think that's a bad thing

I think that the only thing that matters if it it exist love between the two people. On the other hand it´s true that people that have good kissing are more exciting or pasionable than people that kiss in a badly way. Feeeling love is the clue to make friendship or partnership better or or be a good ( or excellent it depends on you ) lover. Have a nice day ! Martín !
