I got a message from 500dollars500cents. It says I have won 400 dollars but I have to give them my paypal accout. I am not sure if I should do it or delete it. I don't trust the fact that I have seen on the news were others have been scamed online. What do you all think I should do. I know I have reached payout in there and the never payed me.

This definitely sounds like a scam. But just to satisfy yourself, type the sender in your search engine to see what they are all about.

I got this same email and I also made payout and I never recieved a dime they keep wanting me to pay them $9.22 to get it. Well, I checked out this email and even put my email address in and the only thing that happened was a page came up and said that I needed to upgrade to become a member of something to recieve the $400. And that would cost me $9.22 I just deleted it, It is a stupid scam. Me and a few others did the 500dollars-500cents thing and didn't recieve nothing.

It is hard to find a good paying site nowdays that isn't going to scam you out of some amount of money. I just I wouldn't fall for some. I have wasted so much time on sites just to find out they don't pay..so now if a friend referrs me I make sure not to join until they have made payout themselves.

Well I don't know, I've read your responses to others so it's obvious you are a member of that site and you've reached payout. Now I understand they haven't paid you which is obviously not a good sign but at the same time if they are just asking for your PayPal email address then there's no harm in that. They can't do anything with it really apart from maybe pay you the money they say you have won! Different if they were asking for your password but they're not are they? I would give them your email address and see what happens. It might be genuine. But there again if they ask you to pay money before you can receive the $400 you're supposed to have won then I definitely wouldnt do that!

Yeah a couple of others that replied to this discussion said they recived the same email and that they want you to pay $9.95 before you recive it. So I deleted it it is pretty much just a scam.

If you have an account with them and you have filled out what payment system you prefer or the email add of your papal account, then I don't think they need to ask for your paypal account. You should not give them your paypal email add and password for that matter as that is a very private account. It maybe from a scammer who just want to get access from your paypal account. What i suggest is contact the administrator and ask them about that message and why they are asking for your paypal account. As much as possible don't give any private account, email add and passwords.

I think you should remember your activity in the past. You entered any lucky program. You see what is the company send to you this message and maybe call to this. You should think before you do everything.

Hmm..Have you ever joined that 500dollars500cents? If you think you already made that 400 dollars then maybe it's true. But if you're not sure...Delete it. Or one thing you can do, create a new paypal account without any of your banking information in it. Then you can try if it's right or not. If it's just a scam then at least you dont hv any banking information in that paypal. If it's true then you can just put your bank account. I've tried it before in a money making website, and I found out that it was actually a scam. But I had nothing to loose , so...yeah its like that.

I don't think you can make a paypal accout without your bank account. I have tried it before and it didn't work.

I would definately not be giving them any of my information if it was me. Surely sounds like a Scam to me. I am Glad you are one who is aware of Scams like this out there, and am leary. I have known friends to give out personal information, and then wonder how they ever think it is safe, and then try to turn them in when in reality sometimes it could almost be too late. Thanks for being leary... and if their is a way for you to turn it into the right authorities to investigate, I would say Go for it.

never ever give your paypal account passwords to anyone. This should be your fist clue that it is a scam. Nothing is ever free. Delete it straight away.

Are you ready to give me your money? - Scam sites mostly looks like genuine, but the thing is they suck your money till the last cent.
$400 Oooo! it is a scam. They are trying to fix you in a trap. We know how hard it is to earn real money by online programs.. All i will do is to press the delete button straight a way.

well lets see. You reached payout and never got paid. That should be a big red flag for you right there. Now they want your paypal account. I know 400.00 sounds good to you but I don't think it is worth getting ripped off. It does sound like a scam to me. I wouldn't bite if I were you.

That is very true. They aren't worth messing with. I emailed the site but no reply yet but at the same time I reached payout a long time ago. I have never recived anything from them.

If you have reached payout and have never been paid, then it is quite possible that it is a scam, do you not know if anyone else has heard of the place, maybe if you could find out if someone has ever heard of them before or been paid off them before. There should be a way of finding out first before you write it off, I would definately look into it if I could, just do not give them any info before you do though just in case!

I think that this is funny being as though I am a member of 1-dollar-mails and today I received an e-mail from them that I had won $400 and to go to the site to claim it and I did. They wanted me to pay them $9.22 to get the $400. Being as though I have about $42.70 in this account why could they not just take it from my earnings so I just deleted it and left the website for now. I may keep going and see if they pay but now am skeptical of them.

You gotta believe pal, it's a 100% scam. Any information that is fished by anyone unknown to you is scame, pure scam. Be careful pal. You may never anymore get a single cent from paypal for some payment or anything if you jump into that cheap way of earning money. It always pays to be a little careful in these hard times.

first tell me whether you are a member of that site ? If yes, then it could be possible, and giving them the paypal account is not a big risk( the mail id is same as paypal id as they even know). But if you are not a member of that site, then definitely it's a scam. Do avoid that. In any case don't give your password of paypal account to anyone even if they claim to be member of PAYPAL itself..

i dont see the damage if they just need your paypal email address thats all someone needs to pay you through paypal i signed up actually about a week ago to start selling with ebay you dont need a bank account or anything to sign up it just says your unverified which really doesnt mean anything...than once you have a balance you wanna transfer than you can add your bank account and it takes 3-5 days to transfer the money to your bank...i like paypal although i think the fees are a little to high sometimes....ive never heard of 500dollars500cents though...ill have to look into it
