I went to Vegas last September, and in a word, it is "surreal". It never stops, there is 24 hour gambling, and so there is 24 hour everything else. The casinos are huge, there are always shops and restaurants on the lower floors. Most of the casinos are also the most lush hotels you have ever been in. Check out the Bellagio, it takes luxury to another level. There is also loads going on in terms of shows, some which you pay for and some which are just part of the evening entertainment. There are outside "shows" as well, such as the fountains outside the Bellagio, they are so mesmerising you could stand there all night watching. The weather is also fantastic, being in the middle of the desert it can get seriously hot during the day, and is just pleasant in the evenings. I would definitely recommend it for a holiday, just for the experience of it.

My husband and I went there for our honemoon in 2004. We loved it, we spent 7 days there. I have traveled all over the world and am soo glad I had the opportunity to travel there. I enjoyed the night life there, plenty to do. We had an awesome seafood and prime rib buffet at the Flamingo Hotel, it was called the Paradise Garden Buffet, there were live flamingos right outside the dining aread, and it was beautiful-price was definately right! I would definately go back, wanting to take the kids once they hit 21. My least favorite thing was the heat..we got out of the airport and I was like whoa...this definately isnt Ohio weather!

My favorite thing was seeing the streets at night. All the lights and excitement was pretty good. I didn't like how freaking expensive everything was though... No I woulnd't go back if I had a choice...
