Would you change the colour of your eyes?

Now that there are contact lenses out there that allows you to change the colour of your eyes. Would you do that? If they made them cheap enough, would you change them to the same colour every day or perhaps would you change the colour every other day/week? They say that your eyes are the windows to your soul, do you think that changing the colour of eyes would mean that you are hiding a bit of you away from the world?

I don't have to change my eye color with contacts, I have hazel eyes, they change everday with the clothes I wear. I think that you should stick with the color God gave you. I know it is cool to be able to change the color of your eyes, but I think you are trying to change what God gave you. God made you the way you are, why change it? Love yourself instead

Thanks for responding icy. Yes, I like the way mine are too and I wouldn't change them for the world. Indeed, love yourself and then you can love everyone else - more people need to learn that! :)

I don't think I would change the color of my eyes. I don't think that by wearing contact lenses, you would be hiding a bit of you away from the rest of the world. But I do love the color of my partner's eyes. His eyes are green. When I was a kid, I totally admired people with blue eyes. But when I first saw my partner's eyes, I was blown away! They look so beautifully green and different!

Thanks for your response paulsy. I'm glad to hear that you like the colour of your partner's eyes. Mine change colour depending on my mood and sometimes what I'm wearing. I think Mother Nature is wonderful and that we don't need to 'improve' on the eye colour we have been given which is unique for each and everyone of us.

It's always a shame that you can change your teeth, but not your eyes! That is one part of my face that I am very happy with, it's one of my positives, I have great blue eyes and I wouldn't want to change them at all! But it would be good though if before going out liking choosing what earrings to wear that you could choose the colour of your eyes! Interesting concept indeed my friend. My eyes do show a lot about me and they are definitely a window in my life.

Thanks for replying wolfie. Glad to hear that your eyes are one of your positive features, they are the windows to your soul. So people must love to look into your 'electric' blue eyes! That's good. I think you can see a lot about a person just by looking into their eyes.

I'm not sure if I would change the color of my eyes or not. They are hazel and I have really gotten used to them that way. They change colors on their own sometimes, depending on the colors that I am wearing.

Thanks for your response stephcjh. My mother has hazel eyes too, they are beautiful. I was lucky to be born with blue/grey eyes that have a yellow ring around the pupil, so they too change colour depending on my mood and sometimes what I'm wearing. We don't need coloured contact lenses then, do we!

I don't think I would change the color of my eyes. I would use contacts but not the colored ones. I like it natural. And besides that, it would probably change the way you look.

Yes, I know what you mean. I like mine just the way they are - a little bit different but natural. Thanks for responding.

My eye's color is black.I donot want to change it.Why i will change it?.I think the change of color will not give me more attraction or personality. In my languge there is a quotes "face is the mirror of mind".YOu said some thing similar to this. I donot think the changing of eye means they are trying to hide anything. They only try to hide the original color or their eyes. Thanks

Thanks for replying naseefu. I don't see the point of changing the colour of my eyes unless it is to go to a party or something like that, something for fun. For example, I know that they have contact lenses that make your eyes look like cats eyes, very spooky!

Thanks for replying. Yes, I like the colour of my eyes too. I think different contact lenses are a fun idea and could be used when going to a party etc., but I wouldn't want to wear them all the time!
