Have you ever locked yourself out of your house?

Have you ever stepped out of your house, pulled the door shut behind you, only to realize at that moment you didn't have your keys? What did you do? I called my husband who has had to come and let me in. Not good timing as he was at work at the time.

oh yeahh... it happened to me twice and my hubby twice as well at different occassions... actually, it is quite funny... as nobody else has a spare of our keys, we have to ask the neighbour for help to break open the window... after that, the son climb through the window to open the door for us...

My husband and I have done this a few times since moving into this house. We always had to use a drivers license or a credit card to kind of jimmie the door lock to get in. We had to because we were both locked out.

Hello dear ersmommy. Yeah, I have had this experience for several times. As I live in an apartment on campus, I am not worried about my keys being left inside the apartment because I can always go to the housekeeper of the school for another key that he prepares in case we should lose for some reason. I also have one kept in my best friend's apartment as well.

I'm constantly forgetting something, so I bought one of those little key chains that come apart, one end for the house-keys and the other for the car-keys. So I can take my car-keys, go out for the entire afternoon, only to realize that I'm carrying a sleeping toddler and I'VE LOCKED MY HOUSE-KEYS IN THE HOUSE ALL DAY AND NEVER REALIZED IT!!!!! So I put my kid back in the car, get the shed's padlock key from my car-key chain, grab a small screwdriver...and break into my own house. My husband had to change the locks after about the fourth time I did it. "Why don't you just call me?! I can come and let you in! You have your car-keys, you could COME AND GET my keys!" No, I'm not that stupid, sometimes I just forget to "think outside the box". I'm even a brunette and everything, lol!

I've locked myself out of the house so often that I learned to pick locks! (LOL) It has come in very handy through the years when I have forgotten keys or lost keys to locks.

Yes, I have done it before. More than once. I try to always make sure that someone has a spare key to my car and the house, so that I can be let in either one of them.

Yes,I always did that before because I don't like to take the keys.Yesterday I did it again, but it's not my mistake. I went out our room to find some one,but as soon as I stepped out I heard the door was closed. Then I realized that I haven't taken the key.But I didn't shut it why it closed? Then I know it's because the window was open and the blow wind the door so that it closed and was shutted. Why I was so unlucky? That's not my mistake! At last I have to call my roomates to come back. I wonder when I will change this situation.

I forget my house key sometimes, but I have a spare one hidden outside the house. So if I ever am locked out, I just have to go and get it. Although it is stored in a place where spiders usually end up building a web, so its sometimes really aweful trying to get at it. I'll probably have to find a new place for it before summer comes, lol.
