I am...Getting...MARRIED!

Happy Monday Everyone! Ok so Friday my BF, my girls and I all go shopping and running errands and such. We stopped here, we stopped there, we stopped everywhere! One of the stops was Wal-Mart. They had some towels on sale and I picked up a lavender one - my favorite color. I also bought groceries and such there... So we get home and we're unloading and putting things away. I went to grab the Wal-mart bag to get my towel and BF says I'll get that bag. I was like ok... So later that evening when I went into my room, I looked at the bag and said I thought you were putting this stuff away, he said sorry...I went to grab the towel AND THE RING WAS IN THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I get nervous, I fall into a fit a giggles - and so I did. I couldn't stop. He took the box and said "will you be my wife". I'm still laughing, but thankfully he knows that about me, that I start laughing and won't stop. I managed to say yes through it all. SO the date is 11/15/2008! Raven and Springlady you both know you're invited. Mel, I hope you can make it. Raven, you best be here!

OMFG SHUT YOUR PIEHOLE!! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!?! OH MARE CONGRATS!!! Thats so fab!!! Nov 15?! I shall pencil it in on the calander for sure! I'm so happy for you!!!!! How do the kids feel about it? Are you guys getting married here in NY or are you thinkin Vegas or oh I dunno JAMAICA (or somewhere equally warm and beautiful) LOL

Oh hell please! Like I'd miss the ceremony!! I'll be at the church and the reception you silly b00b LOL but thanks for thinkin about it...Churches dont bother me at all, actually I love older churches (there are some GORGEOUS ones in Buffalo).. Mare I really am THRILLED for you and your man (tell him I said Congrats and if he messes up or hurts you I'm takin a round out of him LOL)

I was waiting for your responce :-) Yes, we are getting married here! We WERE going to do it in Vegas, which is why I kept talking about Vegas and what not. But then we decided to do it here and invite everyone! The ceremony and reception will be on Saturday, November 15, 2008. Ceremony 1pm Reception 5pm. The ceremony will be at our church and if you don't feel comfortable or want to come to the church I totally respect that - BUT you best be at the reception!!! PARTY PARTY. I'm going to send out "Save the Date" information... I CAN'T WAIT!!!

Oh the kids (the girls) love it! Actually H helped him pick out the ring and she kept it a secret!!! L doesn't know yet because my mom is out of town until Wednesday we'll be telling our folks this coming weekend. I'm going to have L walk me down the aisle. My step dad did it the first time, but seeing that we're grown, and this is our second marriage, and to give him a special part, I want my son to walk me down the aisle. Including James and me, our wedding party is 17!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We actually had it all planned - we were going to Elope to good ol' Vegas for our birthdays. We're both in November he the 11th me the 15th. BUT we were NOT going to tell anyone about it. We were going to wait until February when we were going to have a reception. But we went to church yesterday and the sermon really touched us both and we mutually said ok we're having a ceremony and everyone can share in our joy. Whoever doesn't like it tough cookies!!! And here we are.

Thank you. You can dream, but it never quite happens how you think. I would have NEVER thought it would have happend like this. AND my oldest daughter (she's 10) helped him pick the ring!!!
