Spring Fever Anyone?!

Do you suffer from spring fever? Here in my part of the world, spring is finally here (I think). It won't be long until flowers are blooming, trees are budding, birds are singing, etc., etc. It's a welcome change, after an extremely long, hard winter this year. Years ago, I'd always experience a sense of restlessness, this time of year, and a longing for something new, in my life. For many years, it was the desire for romance, and the hope of finally meeting that special someone. This eventually did happen for me. This year, once again, I have this restless feeling. There are days when I just want to take off somewhere, but can't, due to my family, and responsibilities. It's time for a change, but I'm not sure how to achieve this. It's a good thing I have many dear friends, and family members, to keep me grounded. Some of them are online friends, who I truly value, and you know who you are. Do you have spring fever this year? Do you get it every spring? How does it affect you, and what do you hope for? Please share, so I know I'm not alone in this.

Hi there someonesmom...miss seeing you around here and yes you are one of my cherished friends here Well I guess I'm a restless soul too with the coming of spring but my way of going about it is to do a megathon spring cleaning thing--something I haven't done in awhile...This might actually take me a whole month to do as I literally want to go through my place with a fine tooth comb and get rid of things I no longer need...the biggest challenge are my many storage containers that hold a lot of papers and stuff...things I just plain don't need or want anymore, but still means going through everything to make sure I don't throw anything important out....I've yet to tackle my kitchen cabinets which I also want to do--sort of getting rid of all the old to make way for the new--I already tackled some of my containers in my bedroom, but have more to do..that's for tomorrow

Yes I have the similar feeling with you. When spring comes I feel refreshing and wanna travel around. This time is spring now I feel restless and want to have a travel. But I have to work and have responsibility to my family. So i feel tired.Till this morning I also think about this question that why I feel no happiness in lige.Only do the rutine things day after day. One day I am suddenly afraid of the age,for it doesn't stop.Spring fever? I think that maybe a common reflection to us. Do you have the same experience?

I am sure when I was younger and fitter I used to get that feeling too someonesmon - nowadays though I just tend to breathe a huge sigh of relief that the kids can get back outside to play again - release a lot of that pent up energy from the long winter when they are stuck inside far too much! xxxx

Yes, I can't wait till spring really gets here. My tulips are starting to come up but I can't wait till the leaves start to come out on the trees. I love it when the Tulips are out and the Lilacs are too. I like to pick both of them and arrange them together in a vase in the house. I love the smell of Lilacs!
