I took a trip to another province the other time in my own vehicle ,I was not familiar with the routes so I easily lost my way but was so reluctant to ask for direction because I was embarrassed. I eventually asked for direction and was soon on the right route, how often do you ask for direction when you are in an unfamiliar territory?

we never get lost now that there is map quest and other great computer sites like that. all you have to do is punch in where you are going and from where and it does the rest for you! of course, having a GPS is way better, but map quest is cheaper!! (and yes, if we are lost my hubby DOES ask for directions!

I try to bring a map with me but when I do not have one, I ask for directions or to make sure that I am going in the correct direction! It is not easy to find someone who knows where they are going, and is willing to help out by telling me if I am going the right way!

yes i agree that its a good thing to ask ,its funny that i have had a map with me sometimes and still missed my way, sometimes am even scared because some guys are too embarrassed to tell you they dont know the direction you are going so they give you a direction they hope is correct and yet so wrong, have you experienced that before?

I usually travel with my husband and we take a map with us. I will read the map while he is driving and tell him which roads or turns to make. Every now and then if we are looking for a place of business and cannot find it, we will stop quite a few times to ask directions so we do not have to waste gas.

I don't like going anywhere I don't know. But if I have to then I will stop and ask for directions. I hate being lost. I will have a panic attack if I am lost.

its always good to move around it refreshes you and travelling helps you to learn things you wont probably get on the pages of any book, but getting lost is a big problem but the solutionis asking for directions when required.
