Do you make your own pet food?

I recently saw a report on a t.v. show that literally left me shocked and disturbed in regards to the ingredients included in Pet Food. Sweeteners, chemicals, nutritionless filler and not the meat you would expect but animal by products that would never ever be consumed by humans. I then started to do some research online and everything that was said on the show was backed up by my research. I never bought pet food again. Not even treats. I found a lot of information and resources on how we can make our own food for our pets, including treats. One of my dog's favorites believe it or not is Liver/Peanut butter brownies! If it was not for the liver I would be eating these myself.:) I simply bake them and chop them up into little bite sized treats then place half in a tupperware container where they keep for a few days and the rest in the freezer for a later date. I found this recipe and over 100 more in pdf format online... If you are interested here is the address. http://dogs.ultimate-digital.com/pamperdog/ It's totally free.

that is really interesting i didn't know that you could mkae your own..we usually just buy a huge bag of catfood at the beginning of the month and it always last us all month long and we don't have to do much more than that..sometimes we will throw out our scraps and they will go and eat that..because most times we have some kind of meat in there and they just love that...so thats just what we do but ill check it out jhl930
