Guess what? For your birthday, Cold Stones is giving out free ice cream. All you have to do is go to their website and sign up for their free Birthday Club. Now I will be honest, I have never tasted Cold Stones ice cream, but I hear that it is the best. May even give Baskin Robins(31 flavors) a run for their money. So click on over there and sign up before your birthday rolls around. By the way, how many of you have tasted this ice cream and is it as good as they say? Which is your favorite? My birthday is in August. I may have to get there before then.

I must admit that I liked Baskin Robins better...more varities and better chocolate tastes... I like that Cold stone allows you to pick your favorite things and mixes them up into a personalized treat for you before your eyes. But I dislike that they charge you more for the ice cream because of the public display of making it on the cold stone. Baskin Robins has a birthday club too and it gives away free ice cream on your birthday as well as sending you coupons for reduced prices on treats all year through.

You only live once... Eat Dessert First... Enjoy that ice cream! And while you are at it... Try some Ben and Jerry's too. Grins...

I remember you saying that last year. That is cool because there is always something fun going on on your birthday. Everyone in America is celebrating. July 4 is a good day for ice cream too.

Wow!! I am going to have to check this out. Too bad I could not have also seen this when you first posted it as my husbands Birthday was a week ago, and we both Love Cold Stones ice cream. Since they make it by hand, and you can watch them make it, it is delicious. Some of the best really there is in my opinion. But I will have to make sure and do this before my Birthday which is also in August. Thanks for posting this.

You're welcome. I have not seem you around here in a very long time. For some reason, Mylot has made it so that my friend's do not get alerts when I do a new discussion. I can not wait to try Cold Stones, I have heard so many good things about it.

I actually like Cold Stone better than Baskin Robbins, though both of them are too expensive for me. But, I will check out their site because I can always go for a free ice cream. I might be in Catalina this year, so I will have to get it before I leave the mainland or afterwards. I also have my birthday in August, perfect time for Ice Cream.

I think Baskin Robbins is a little cheaper, but you don't get as much as you do with Cold Stone. The last time I ate at Cold Stone, something kept tickling my throat and I couldn't stop coughing. I don't know if it was something in the ice cream that I was allergic to or what. I've eaten there before with no problem, though. I signed up and I sent an e-mail to my mom, who loves Cold Stone to sign up as well.

August is the perfect time for ice cream, indeed. Actually, the coupons are made available to you a few days before your birthday, so you will be able to get it before you leave. I heard that Cold Stones was expensive. Is it more expensive than 31 flavors?

You can also sign up your son. Now I do not know if they have sugarfree for your husband, but you know what they have, so sign him up too.

I will have to wait until December to get my free ice cream...unless I sign up my daughter for it - her bday is in august, but she's pretty little to be eating ice cream! I had coldstone's ice cream before. It is pretty good if you like hard ice cream versus soft serve. They mix all kinds of things into it if you want - weird stuff like gummy bears even. my favorite ice cream though is still a little local hand made ice cream place called scoopers...they're not franchised, they usually have different flavors each time i go there, so if you find one you like they might not have it the next time! but even so they are still my favorite.

Yes, you might want to do August. It is a much better time for ice cream than December. I do not like my ice cream hard or soft, but more in between the two. It is difficult to eat hard ice cream, especially when it contains a lot of chunky stuff. I had Gummy Bears in my ice cream when I was younger and I did not like it at all. It made the bears hard.

Blue Bell Ice Cream - The brand that I buy.
Theres no Cold Stones where I live. But my birthday is in December, its too for ice cream then. The only ice cream store near me is TCBY and it is inside the Subway sandwich store. I just buy my ice cream from Walmart, I buy Blue Bell ice cream.

You are right, December is not the time to be thinking of ice cream. I do not believe that I have ever tried TCBY.

Hi Rozie37! How are you my friend, it's been a long time. I have never heard of Cold Stones before and it is not yet available here in our country . Baskin Robins however, is available here and I really love it. I think Cold Stones marketing strategy is great, giving out free ice cream! Wow, I just wish it will reach international borders. Just my thoughts dear friend. Take care and have a nice day!

Heeeey, I missed you so much. I was going through my list of friends the other day and deleting the people who were no longer active. I didn't delete you because I was hoping you would come back soon and here you are. I have heard other people say that Cold Stones is not close by them. Hopefully, it will be world wide soon. I think that they have this birthday special to get people hooked on it. I have never had it myself. But I hear that it is as good as it is expensive.
