A simple question that just has to be asked.

Which really came first ? Was it the chicken , Or was it the Egg ? I'm surprised no-one else has asked this , so I thought I'd be the very first.

I think that the egg came first. Years ago, 2 chicken looking type birds, had laid an egg in their nest, which when born looked slightly, only slightly different from them, and this process carried on happening over thousands of years. And eventually the bird born 2000 years later looked more like a modern chicken that it did 2000 years ago when it looked like the 2 birds that started the whole process. Like evolution, but on a massive scale. Thats how =] Chris

But where did the 2 original chicken type birds hatch from ? Or maybe they did not hatch ? It's a never ending question dont you think?

If it's in the bible then maybe it's not true. Just a thought, thanks for the response. We may never really know the answer, but I'm sure myLotters can help.

i think it's the egg.. because according to the evolution theory, we came from single cell organisms and just evolve to the way we are now.. so, since it was organisms, yada yada, to sea creatures, then to animals on land.. the last animal (which is not a chicken yet) laid an egg which soon hatched to the chicken we know today.. so for example, the specie 9.7 gave birth to 9.8 which give birth to 9.9 and eventually gave birth to 10.0 - a new specie that we name a chicken.. does that makes sense at all? because it's crystal clear on my mind but the words looks like gibberish to me..

Well I'm not going to quote the bible. That book of Myth has been rewritten 275 times by those who didn't agree with the original version. Just let me say that if there was no chicken there would be no egg,and vice versa! (did you search to be sure no one has asked this before?) I remember answering it before! Maybe it was in another life though!

The chicken before the egg. The chicken was first created, and the chicken lays an egg. And how did the chicken came there. GOD PUT IT THERE! DON'T ASK ME WAY, HE JUST DID! lol
