My grandma's coming home!

Okay so today my grandmother is coming home from the Dominican Republic and I'm really happy. The main reason being that she's coming and then that she is brining some yummy sweets from teh Dominican Republic. I've never traveled outside the U.S. I was born in the Dominican Republic but I came here to the U.S. really young and have never left. I would actually love to travel the world but not right now. Right now I want to focus on my studies and finish as fast as possible. Where have you guys traveled? Or are you like me and have not gone to a foreign country?

I am happy for you that your grandmother is coming to see you and bringing some yummies for you.. I have been in almost all 50 states, Canada, and Mexico.
I am glad to hear that you want to focus on your studies and finish school..

Thanks so much. Yeah right now I'm gonna fish university and then I could travel. or I was thinking of studying abroad for a month or so in Italy. Have a nice evening.

Where is Fish University? Is it near you live..(my mom nevered talked about it when she lived there..It my not be that old of a school and started after she moved south) What are you studying? Never been to Italy..

LOL. Sorry I don't know what I was doing when I typed that. I meant to say I want to finish university and that maybe I'll go to Italy to study. Sorry for the mistake.

I used to dream of going places. I usually wanted to go to the US with my family to work, live and stay there for good. But perhaps the right opportunity is not with me yet. I would like to see Switzerland which is known to be a peaceful country. I'd like to go to New Zealand and Australia, too. These places fascinate me.

Those are places that I've hear are beautiful. That's one of my dreams to travel all over the place. Learn about all the different cultures and live like them too. Australia would be a beautiful place to visit but it's really hot over there.

First of all I hope you have a wonderful time with your Grandma. Isn't great when they bring yummy sweets for us? Love it. Secondly, I've travelled quite a bit but not all of it was by choice. Let's see, I was born in the jungles of New Guinea, moved to The Netherlands, then to Australia, and finally to the USA. I've come close to entering Canada and stayed in Mexico for a couple of days and spent a few hours in Johannesburg in South Africa, I believe. Well that's it, I think.

Wow. That's pretty cool. I acutally want to got to Africa. I don't know exactly what place but I really want to go. It's awesome that you at least got to experience different places like that. Have a nice evening.

so how was your grandma's visit? did she bring a lot of sweets? ^__^
i have only traveled within our country. i haven't gone abroad yet. although this year, i plan to go to any country within Asia. i originally planned to go to Hongkong but i switched to Singapore because there are a few people there that i know. it would be nice to meet them. but i don't have the time to prepare for the travel because i'm still busy at work. it was supposed to be this summer. i wanted to travel during my birthday, which was yesterday, but i couldn't prepare for it. so i guess, i'm moving my travel either this coming May or June.

Yeah she brought a lot of sweets and some yummy cheese from D.R. Too bad you couldn't travel during your birthday. I would tove to go to Osaka Tokyo. But that's just one of the places that I would tove to go.

It is wonderful that you will see your grandma and get some delicious sweets to eat. Maybe you should visit the Dominican Republic again as it was your homeland. The other Caribbean Islands are lovely for you to visit too. I have been to the beautiful island of St Lucia. I really love to travel and fit this into my career nicely as I am a primary school teacher. I have been to 49 different countries so far in my life. My favorite of these are Australia, New Zealand, Samoa, the Seychelles and Belize.

Wow 49 countries. That is so cool. Yeah I might go but not right now. I already have too much on my plate. I would love to go to Australia it sounds nice from what i hear people say about it and from what i see. Have a nice day.
