Why is everyone so high on PTC's?

I've looked into them and I don't see the big deal.They don't really pay that well unless you get referrals.Even then,you won't make that much.They seem to be a boring,low paying way to make very little money.So what's the big deal?

I'm still trying to learn on how make an extra money, but, think mylot is one of the best example in making an extra money, so do you think am i right?

It does take a long time to reach payout. I never seem to get referrals either. People always go on and on about all the referrals that they got. I usually just do the ones that has no minimum payout. Also, the ones that pay every week too. I I get greedy, I will just sign up with them all and wait to reach payout together.
