Well with the BCCI taking it as personal and rival after the lauch of the indian cricket league. They finally did start a chellenging league to counter the IndianCricketLeague as well as to amase some good money. Well now what kind of impact do you think will be on the world cricket. Right now there has been many speculations that indian team is performing bad just because of the money league that is about to start in a few days from now. Most of the international cricketers did leave the international arena to take part in this league. Can you guys just go ahead and give ur ideas and what do u think about this league.

its going to be a major impact on world cricket. Now itself we can see early retirements from so many country's players just to make themselves free to play in IPL. Even existing players are prefering to play in IPL rather than to play for their country. Its a major set back for the pride of nations in this. Let see how far it goes..

Yeah i guess in the next few days there will be some drastic decisions from the players. As soon as this edition of the IPL is over many players will express their interest in the next edition. Lets see what will happen.

this is good for us from viewer perspective. But the cricket boards won't welcome with full heart for sure. BCCI is very much happy and wanted to show its power to ICC here and it could be major thing in cricket history..

I think international cricket has already taken a backseat with the launch of IPL. The players will only play for money. Also it has become a big tamasha with the stars and singers making publicity stunts. I hope it restores my interest in cricket as i am losing it very fast. ~pinks~

Well what ever tamasha you meant , i guess that kind of entertainments did bring in huge crowds at Kolkatta. Lack of such entertainment or may be lack of stars made match at hyderabad a dull one. There were 25% of the seats Empty at hyderabad. Wish you dont loose your interest in cricket. Have fun watching IPL.

well i think it will def make an imapct. players will now change the style of batting in both the other format of the gae and that will mena more runs but less of class. this is because in 20 20 you need to hit the ball hard evry time. and this means no class shorts all hard hits.

I think IPL is something which is going to dominate world cricket in terms iof money. its always well known that BCCI is the richest cricket borad in world. now it has been proven to the world in this fashion. if this goes on actually, i think more and more overseas players will join this for money.

Well yes Money is all what matters to cricketers now, IPL have cashed in on that. BCCI will make a lot of money out of this tournament as well. At the same time there are a lot of developments going on to take it global. Champions League is in Proposal to which two top IPL teams will go and participate along with top 20-20 teams from all over the cricketing nations. Its going to be too huge.

This Ipl Think is bound to change the way cricket is played It has become more exciting and dashing then it ever use to be.Imagine 240 runs being scored in 20 overs thats over 10 per over.Only the fast and the furious will be able to survive in this format of the game.Players with orthodox temperament can get ready to hang up there boots and find something new for themselves.Everyone these day want something happening and exciting,And IPl has given the people what the they really want.

Talking about extertainment and fun , IPL is giving the maximum to the spectators. Scoring at such huge run rates is always exciting, which will grab more and more fans. Coming to the orthodox players , yes as You said by next edition of IPL there will be many retirements and many changes taking place.

If u were offered the money 3 times what u earn in a year for 3 months wont tou go for that option. Plus according to BCCI's new statement, they are not going to hire the guys who are going to break their contract with the curent team. So it can e a good news. Plus if the schedule of the IPL is adjusted taking into mind the schedule of the ICC matches it will add to the fun.And also it will give the chance of seeing all favorite playerrs playing on one side. For example Jayasurya opening with Sachin, this combination is really interesting to watch. And always there are some disadvanteges as well.

Well yeh there are some interesting combination like as u said Sachin and Jayasuriya, Symonds and Afridi, youraj singh and Sangakkara. Obviously it is interesting with all the big names playing under one roof. Almost all the teams are balanced well and i hope cricket will be more interesting and fun. Yes ICC should plan it accordingly that IPL wont clash with any other tournaments. Thanks for your response.

This the ending of nation spirit in the game. Now every cricketer play for money. It will be the end of world cricket now only the leagues will start as in football & basketball.

Hope it does improve, as they have got the opportunity to interact with international players. I guess this can help them to some extent but keeping in mind the fitness problems they face it keeps me worried.
