Trick Or Treat Stories

I took the kids for a quick run around the block even though dad made the deal with them that if they had a party over the weekend, they were not to go Trick or Treating. I couldn't help it. It is the fun of being a kid! I took my older daughter (14yrs) with me to help hold hands...dad said she was too old for trick or treating and I couldn't resist that either, I gave her a bag as we walked out. When we got back, the older kids had to help with the haunted backyard while the younger kids (the one's that were not supposed to trick or treat but got to anyways) got to eat candy in the house watching Halloween movies. The neighbors that did not have an issue with Halloween loved it. I heard many comments of, "This is what Halloween is about." or "People don't decorate like this anymore! Its great!" and many other comments that was nice to hear. The only reason those people loved it is because they do not have anything against Halloween. But being stuck in the middle of the Bible Belt, it is a defining moment when neighbors realize that we are really evil. Muhahahahaha There are two churchs on every corner here. Even though I am not saying that is wrong...the certainly do overkill it. What is the harm of fun? I see no wrong in it and will continue to expand it each and every year!!!Pumpkin below carved by me.

Kids in my neighborhood got good sutff too. One older lady even gave out quarters. I got to be the one in my family that handed out the candy and chips, I think next year, I'm gonna go and get the good stuff haha.
