No computer for me tonight, I am going out!!

I guess if anyone knew me they would probably fall off their chair reading this because I do not go out very often and I can always be found at night times, or indeed in any spare time I have, glued to the computer!! For the last 3 months I have been found most often to be glued to myLot. But tonight, for the first time since New Years Eve I am going out!! I am going out with my sister-in-law and her friend and we are going for a few drinks in another Town not far from where I live. I must say I am really nervous and have agonised all week over what to wear, I cannot afford to buy many clothes, and as for fashion, well I would not know what it was if it came up and bit me on my behind!!
So, no myLot for me tonight, will anyone miss me? 
I hope I do not get withdrawal symptoms!!
So what is everyone else up to this weekend? Anyone else going out for the first time in ages? Do you go out often? What are all your plans?

well good for you, go out and have a great time! i don't get out to often either. besides work and home. which i don't mind much, however, i do like to go out every once in a while with friends. so go out, and have a great time. have a drink for me if you will. enjoy!!

Thank you, I think sometimes when you do not go out much it is always a lot more enjoyable, although I was more nervous than anything!

well, we would be missed you in here dear. however, to go out tonight, i think its pretty good idea for you since you said that you most of the time really "stuck" with mylot so, in my wishing i hope you have great time during you go out tonight

Thank you plumwish07, it is nice to know that I will be missed!! I love spending time on myLot, as it is good fun, but I have not been out for such a long time, I was pretty scared of how much things have changed. But I had a fantastic time and a good laugh and it did me good to get out.

I have been glues here at Mylot also but took me some time off from it in the last few days. I cannot afford to go out either and I do not have nice clothes to wear that I can fit into right now. they are all too small for me as I have gained a little bit of weight. I think there are quite a few of us who will miss you and your discussions that you make. I'm not doing much at all this weekend other than work and clean a little bit of the house. I hardly ever go out anywhere because money is tight and I do not have nice clothes to wear right now until I get my weight back off. Have fun. Hurry back!

Well don't have withdrawls, lol, from mylot. I will miss ya of course, I look forward to reading your comments and discussions. No plans of going out for me this weekend as bubs is still only little. But we did go to the waterfalls yesterday that was really nice. Can't wait to go out again though and have a couple of drinks, one drink and I will not know what has hit me, it has been such a long time.
Have a good one, you must write a discussion on how it went. Don't worry about what you wear you will look great just bring your smile.

Yes I will keep you on all ten of your toes, lol, I get bored with the same avatar. I like to change it regularly, sorry to confuse you but I am sure you will recognise my face by now lol. What would happen if I start putting my kids on each week, that will really confuse you.@gemini_rose (16264)

It seems that I am missed more than I thought and that is really nice to know, thank you! It is funny how I too notice if someone has not been about for a while, especially if they always answer or set discussions. But now I am back, feeling tired as I did not get home until 3.00am but I had a really good time and it was a lovely break, and I did not spend much money either which is an added bonus!

I had a good night, I managed not to drink too much, I did not get home until 3am! I have not stayed up that late for a long time and I was really tired the next day and my feet killed as they were so sore through wearing high heels.

Well hope you have a blast. Im gonna be spending the night with my hubby i hope. We have our kids this weekend so we may take them out for dinner or something. Then tomarrow I got family in town to visit oh so much fun not.

I haven't been out at night in years. I do go out for lunch with a few parents but that's about it.
Our up and coming trip to my sister in laws wedding is going to involve going out at night which I am looking forward to because my son will be taken care of by the in-laws, and I won't need to worry about him.
Tell us all about it tommorrow.

Its always good to go out and relax with some friends. I know I am aching to spend a night on the town with hubby. I am pregnant and havent got to go out and have a few drinks and such for 9 long months now. I am going crazy. I am sure once you get your first drink in ya mylot will be the last thing on your mind. Go out, enjoy yourself, and most importantly....BE SAFE! Hope you have a great time.

Yes I missed out on quite a few nights out when I had my 4!! I expect I will soon forget all about computers by the time I have had one or two, I shall have to be careful though with not having a drink for a while I could end up really drunk!

Good for you gemini, and of course you'll be missed.But i think that it's a good idea to socialise every now and then. I'm sure you'll look good in whatever you decide to wear.My advice is to relax and have a good time. we'll be right here waiting to hear all about your night...have fun.

Hey, hope you have a good night!! It'll be fun for you to let your hair down!! I know you will prob have withdrawal symptoms but you will also prob get ideas for more discussions about all the crazy/strange people you meet!!
My plans for the weekend are since its my day off to do my housework tomorrow and do a few errands. I will prob pop onto mylot for a couple of hours. Im working sunday so will go and see my boyfriend afetr Ive finished then come home and may read my emails.

Thank you, and I did end up having a good night, although I am extremely tired as I did not get home until 3am!! Not used to staying up that late at all. Hope you have a good weekend, no doubt I will see you on here at some point as I shall be on for the rest of the weekend trying to catch up with what I missed out on last night!!

I do not go out the last time I was out was over a year ago
I prefer the Comfort of my Home at night
Nice and warm and being here or watching the TV or reading
Yes I sound boring but that is me
As for the Fashion lol I hope you found something to wear
I have actually treated myself to some new Clothes from Asda lol as I was in bad need for new ones and they have lovely Stuff and in fashion
But I have to admit I do keep up with the Fashion but I will only buy something that I like and that suits me

Gabs I had a great night, we had a good laugh, but we did not get home until 3am so I was really tired the next day and my feet were killing me. I wore some white capri jeans with sparkly bits on and a black top and some sandals, I looked ok in the end. I have not had any new clothes for ages.

I am glad you went out and had a good time. We need that every once in a while. I stayed home this weekend- pretty much. Yesterday I went grocery shopping and spring cleaned one room. Today we went to my boyfriends moms to help her pick up a bed and chair.. then spent the rest of the day at home. Its been chilly and rainy. This week is supposed to be nice and I plan on getting the flower beds cleaned, the yard re-seeded with grass.. and hopefully take care of our mole problem.

You may miss mylot to night. I bet it will be a good experience for you going out after a long time. In a day i go out to work where i work on the computer all the time. I am addicted to this Electronic box so much that even when i go out with my friends i will always be talking about the internet or the computers which i guess will bore them but still we enjoy.
I do really miss my computer when i go on a trip for a couple of days and that is every one month i will have to go like that. My parents live far from the place where i live and i will have to go and see them every month.
If i get any chance to use my office laptop i will definetly carry it to my parents place and enjoy computing from there.
Since i am very busy with my work and stuff i rarely go out for parties and get togethers. Well i wont just get struck to the computer all the time. I will go out atleast twice in a month to have a break from the stress i undergo at work and on the computer.
Hope you will enjoy your outing and will share your experiences here for sure

I too am addicted to this computer of mine!! I go on holiday for a week next month, no internet, no myLot for a whole week, how on earth am I going to cope!

I don't go out very often either. I just went out the other day with my boyfriend to a Mexian restaurant. It was nice to actually go out and spend time with just him for a change. I spend most of my time on the computer as well, and it annoys him sometimes, but it's what I enjoy, so he lets me.
