As most of you know, I have been talking about putting together my website for months now. However I kept thinking, Momma you can't really do that you really don't know how to run a website. Then i read all the books and still said you can't do that because you don't know enough about all the technicals to get it up and running. Then I heard something that put a fire under my A$$ as my grandma use to say, You learn more. Sure I am never going to get a job being a IT, but i am right now building my site. And you know what, FEAR was the only think stopping me. I said no more fear, just jump in. Now that i changed the way I thought, I will have my site up and running in two weeks. taking fear out of it as allowed me to not only find a site that I can use, but it has brought people into my life that are showing me the ropes? So my question is, what do you want to do, that fear of not being enough as not allowed you to do?

Fear has never been a problem with me. My mother used to tell me, "There's nothing you can't do if you want to do it badly enough". I always wanted to try new things and push the envelope, especially when someone would tell me I couldn't do it. I would do it, or at least try to do it, just to prove to them they were wrong. It's not a good thing for anyone to tell me I can't, because I will come up with a way to show them they should have never made that comment. Everything I ever wanted to do, I at least tried it. Most things I mastered, or at least accomplished to the point of satisfaction. Then I move on to the next thing. I can say, I've done a lot of things in my life, many of which most people wouldn't believe of me. That's okay too. I proved to myself I had the 'hoopspa' to do it. Don't care much what anybody else thinks.....lol

I grow up with fear thinking. i am now learning to think beyond that. to think thoughts that allow me to see the possible. I know that i am capable to do anything that i set my mind too. I feel more free and in love with who i am right now, and how i am becoming.

The most important thing I ever learned was how to like ME...... When I learned that, fear didn't have a chance anymore. When I learned there was nothing to fear, but fear itself, the attitude I had toward ME changed, which changed the attitude I had toward everyone else. Fear is a powerful emotion put into motion by people who keep telling you that you can't do something or that you should be different, or that you don't have the right to feel the way you do. It takes some people a lifetime to learn how to deal with fear - especially if they try to do it on their own. With God's guidance and the gift of wisdom, knowledge and understanding,,,,,,,,,,I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me....... Fear has no place in our lives momma. When we release the fear, we open doors that were locked to us before. Learning how to deal with these unwanted emotions opens up a whole new world, along with a new way of seeing things. Now THAT is FREEDOM!

I read somewhere before that many things are all in the mind. And I believe it is so. Most of the time when we want to do something, when we tell ourselves, we can do it, we can do it, we will usually do it. But if we go along the lines like can we do it? Is it possible? Will I fail? The negative thoughts are already planting seeds of doubt that will tell you to not do it cos you fear the failure you will potentially face. Well, in my motto, can means can, cannot means cannot. Don't do how to know? Unless you try it, you will never know for sure whether you are up to it or not. As Yoda used to tell Luke Skywalker.... "Hmmm... Do or Do Not. There is no try." There is always only to out comes from every attempt. Success or failure. If you do not attempt it, how do you know that it would not be a success? So instead of asking questions of doubt, ask this instead... "What if I succeed?" and you will more likely be motivated to try something out rather than shy away from it.

That is great news. I am happy for you. I have changed some things in my life also and I pray to God that he will give me the strength to get through all of my challenges. Fear has held me back on quite a few things in my life and I am just now trying to break free from it. Good luck to you also.

Well I believe confidence always stops fear from stopping you from doing what you want to or meant to do. And if you maintain your belief in God's love for you fear will never win. No matter who says you can't he always says you can with him. Good luck with your website, but take your time all the startup business websites and books I have read always states to take your time and research your competition.

Wow what a fantastic story and well done you for going ahead and giving it all you got Im not really sure if fear has stopped me from doing something, im sure it will have done in the past but it cant have been anything significant or i would have remembered. I think nowadays im more like yourself and just go for it and give it a bash, whats the worst that could happen!
