Last night, I received a card out of the blue from my 12 year old daughter. She is so sweet, I want to share it with you all, here it is: Dear Mum, just a note to show how much I love you. You were there for me through bad times and good. You were there for me more than anyone could. When I'm not around you I'm blue because deep down I know I'm nothing without you. I hope one day I can fill your shoes. Love Sasha. She is so beautiful, she touched my heart, cannot believe how expressive she is in her writing. She is everything, she is definately not nothing without me, she is already a star. So what is the sweetest thing your child has said to you? How did you feel when they said it?

My daughter is 2-and-a-half years old, she loves me more than anything...once, when she was 2 years old, when me and her father were in an argument, she went direct to her father and hit him and came to me and hugged me and said dont cry, oh...that was such a wonderful feeling that i have felt the first time in my life...

My child was too young to express her self with words.the sweetest sight was the action of my baby who was running after me whenever I go to work

That is sweet, they say actions speak louder then words. Your daughter is showing she misses you.

That is so sweet, what a very caring child, and just 12 too, gosh I never wrote anything like that to my mum!! I cannot think of anything sweet that the kids have said to me but the sweetest thing to have happened recently was my eldest who is 16 went out and bought me a present for christmas with his first wage, it was a gold bracelet with mum on it. I nearly cried.
