Lung Cancer !

Hi everyone ..My sister was diagnosed with lung cancer yesterday and it's in an advanced phase ..she was not suffering from anything, just simple cough, but she thought she should have a CAT scan to check when she discovered cancer all over her lungs. My problem is that I don't know what to do ..I couldn't even find the words to say ..she has two young boys and they are her main concern at the moment.
has anyone gone through such experience?? If Yes please share it with me. Thanx

I'm very sorry to hear about your sister. My best friends mother has been going through the same thing. There are no words that you can say that are going to make her feel better. I'm sorry but there just isn't. The best thing you can do is to be a friend. Take your cues from her. If she wants to talk and get things off her chest, then be there to listen.
My best friends mother was also given 4-6 months left to live, she's now in her third year. She has good days and bad, but never takes anything for granted anymore

Just remember she's going to have good days, but there's also going to be bad days. My best friends mother is living life to it's fullest. She knows that eventually this will take her lilfe but until then, she does what she wants when she wants everyday. Life is all about the quality of the days and not the quantity
