i just finished watching the whole series and the special of Nodame Cantabile last night. and boy, i'm sad again because there goes another good J-dorama that has ended like that. i mean, i always feel sad whenever i finish a series that i am really enjoying. its like, my final line for the final episode would be "some good things never last". Nodame Cantabile is about Noda Megumi and Shinichi Chiaki who are both students of Momogaoka Music Academy. Chiaki is the senpai and Noda is the kohai. Nodame is a gifted pianist but she doesn't want to be a professional pianist, instead, she wants to be a kindergarten teacher. she just play piano for fun. on the other hand, Chiaki is a top student who knows how to play piano and violin but wants to become a conductor. he thinks he had done everything in Japan and he wants to go abroad and study but he can't because he's afraid to ride an airplane and is afraid of water! Only when he met Nodame that things changed for him, for both of them. For a complete info, go here: http://wiki.d-addicts.com/Nodame_Cantabile i really enjoyed this J-dorama, aside from the good story plot, the characters are interesting and entertaining too! starting with Nodame, a really weird and funny girl who doesn't know how to clean her room and is a fan of Puri Gorota. Masumi-chan is funny too! he's the only gay that i've seen with an Afro hair! and it looks funny whenever he puts something there as a hair accessory! Ryu and his father are funny too. but the most funny of them all is Milch! he looks like an octopus when he was trying to kiss Nodame! he looked funny but at the same time scary! haha.. but the actor who played that character is really awesome. i like the way he talks. it was a good thing that there was a special. everybody's dream came true especially that of Chiaki and Nodame. plus, Chiaki finally admitted to himself that Nodame is important to him and he wants her to always be by his side. and a character from the special, Youko, was funny too! she really laughed like an evil witch and she really got me laughing when she tried to "harness the power of the sun".

I also loved this series. I have watched it so many times I can't remember how many. I am an addict of the Nodame Cantabile. After watching the series, I read anything about it in the internet. I read the manga, listen to the classical music played on the series, and watched the anime version. I also watched the Special of Nodame Cantabile. I heard also that there will be another season for the anime version of Nodame Cantabile this coming October.

Eversince I watched the live version I really became addicted to NC. I watched it so many times I can't remember then I researched everything that I could get on this show. I started reading the manga. Then I started watching the anime version. YOu can watch it on crunchyroll. I can't wait for the season 2 of the anime. I don't know where will they pick up. I just wish whatever the live action and its special didn't show, it would be shown in the upcoming season of the anime version.

We are so addicted with this show. Even after months since we've watched it, we still talk about this a lot. Even if my sister isn't here, we still talk about it when we get to chat or text. The expressions, the characters, the scenes. hehe. Everything is so funny. Even my elder brother is also into Nodame Cantabile. hehe. Sometimes he pretends to be Nodame, the way she follows Chiaki in school, walking all weird, shifing from one side to the next. Sometimes he dances the fart dance. Wahaha. This show is really something. I even recommended this to my friends. But then, I won't give them a copy, because I want to watch it with them. hahaha.

I don't think it's effective. If he did fart, I would blame it on the fact that he gulped a lot of air from laughing too hard.

Lol, secret. I think we all would like to harness the epower of the sun, but for good not for evil. Such wonderful names all of those characters have!

Youko harnessed the power of the sun so that his boyfriend, Jean would win the Conductor contest. jean and Chiaki were rivals although they have the same teacher. it was really funny because Youko was like, while facing outside the window, she spread her arms with open palms and slowly going up, and then on top of her head, she put one palm over another facing the sun and there was a special effects that some yellow light was gathered in her palm. that was really funny because it really looked like anime.
