Would you give your pet a birthday party?

This seems to be a big trend now. My daughter has informed me that I will have to bring my Bella to her dogs birthday party she is planning this summer. I laughed at her and said sure we will come. Her dog dutchess is actually like my granddaughter. I am just curious though would you give your dog or pet a birthday party? Who would you invite?

wow! sounds funny but never did it to my pet. although some pet owners did that but for me it doesn't make sense. animals are like humans but in terms of happiness during the celebration we do not know about that. we can't alk to them and ask they feel about their party's. unlike human we can obeserve the feeling of the celebrants during the celebration.

Personally, I don't think I could do something like this. I do know a lot of people though like my sister who does this, and buys her dog a special treat, etc. on their birthday. To me, it seems a little odd, and going overboard, but since Pets are like another human form of the family, I guess some decide it is neccessary. I would have to say to each their own then.

Well, if I were to give my dog a birthday party, I could only invite people, because my dog doesn't get along with other dogs. I don't give her a birthday party though, although I do buy her some new toys and treats on her birthday, and we usually take her out to the park or something.

Yes, I ever give a birthday party to my pets. My pets are like my sons so I do that. All pets I had. My party have food for pets and food for the owners because I invite all my friends that have a pet. Let the pets play like kids and you will see that fun it is.
