Bloggers Use the 5 random facts tool as a way of gaining more traffic to their blogs and getting to know their blogging neighbors better. So I thought this morning that it might be fun and neighborly if we all got to know each other better here in mylot. Last night I realized even though we talk so much and cut up with each other, there is much that still surprises us about each other. So I want you to think of 5 totally random facts that you may not have mentioned here in the discussions already and have fun with it. 5 facts about myself. 1. After my husband and I had been dating awhile we decided to hitch hike across America. (remind me to make a post on this later) LMAO. 2. I have had a child born in every state we have lived in for more than one year. 3. I think pomegranates, and pomegranate juice is sexy. 4. I make the best Iced Tea this side of the Mason Dixon. 5. I once let my hair grow so long it was below my knees. Okay now its your turn, really use your thinking caps and come up with something unique about yourself.

wow. you had your hair that long?? as in it was way below your knees?? wow! that's super super long! i have never seen someone with a hair as long as that. the longest hair i've seen only reaches up to the waist. wasn't it uncomfortable to have a very long hair like that? is your hair still long like that? hmmm.. as for me, five funny/weird things about me: 1. back in college, i tried to eat rice topped with Cheese Whiz thinking it would taste delicious but i ended up putting it in a plastic bag and secretly throwing it out in the garbage because i was too embarrassed of my stupidity. 2. when i was a kid, i used to pick a certain plant and i would lollipop the end of its stem thinking that it would ward off bad things from happening. ^__^;; i don't know where i get that idea. i think i only made that up. 3. i used to sing "you are not alone" (forgot the singer) back in high school when i'm home alone feeling sentimental and i would just cry over the song and feel stupid afterwards. LOL 4. back in college, i had a crush on our student organization president and even though i call him as big brother and he had a girlfriend then, i kept on simply flirting with him. ^__^;; 5. back in college, me and my friends had this suck-and-blow game where we would pass a piece of hard plastic, the shape of a credit card, through our mouth. to my left was my handsome classmate to whom i was about to pass the plastic. i was secretly happy that the plastic had fallen from my lips and we accidentally kissed each other! LOL back then i had a crush on his thin lips and destiny had was good to me that i was able to kiss those thin lips. ^__^;;

Yep secretbear, It was really that long once. I was getting head aches and it was actually the weight of my hair causing it. Once I cut it back up to around my shoulders all was well again. I still keep my hair about shoulder length or a bit longer. I don't care for very short hair on myself. LMAO at that kiss :)))

Hello Angelwhispers!:-) I think I have shared some earlier but they were not on any popular thread. And, they are random but not weird or not even interesting, perhaps, LOL! 1. My own family...my partner, my son and I; all three are born in different countries. 2. I have a broader extended family, literally counting in millions. All men and women from this family share the same first name (or prefix to first name) for well over a millennium years. Of course, I consider every human as my cousin anyway, since we all descend from either a single parents or very few! 3. My partner and I descend from same parents over 1200 years ago, around 1275 to be more precise, and thus we have exactly same lineage before that. We just had to tell each other our full names to know this. Plus, in our broader extended family, lineage records are kept meticulously in many of the families. 4. I was very, very shy in most part of my early life. I won't enter in a room where there were only girls (or strangers) even though I liked them, LOL! 5. I recently had a heavy, and long, mustache, mainly for a multinational cultural event held here this Saturday. I can get rid of it now, finally! LOL! Well, that's about it, the 5 random facts about me!:-)

Hmm! Random facts... like Chucknorrisfacts? ;p 1. Pro is capable of travelling through time. The effect only sends him forward several seconds or a couple of minutes forward, never backwards... the whole thing makes the ability a pointless exercise in futility. 2. Pro cannot divide by zero. He can however beat up most anyone who tries it. 3. Pro is on a quest to recover the 17 tenkachisekai rings, and only then will the true evil power reveal itself 4. Pro can fly, but only for several seconds, and you can't be looking directly at Pro when it happens 5. Pro knows where you live and what you think before you've thought it Okay Angel, some real ones 1. Pro is a science fan, and a constantly growing one at that 2. Pro is vociferous in opinion, but don't get too discouraged if you are on the "receiving" end of a more colourful showing 3. No matter how "mean", "ogre", "monster" Pro may sound or seem, Pro does value friendship, and despite difference... we'd get along just fine in real life 4. Pro is a gamer, but a slowly retiring one. Real life sure can have its "downsides" 5. Pro can cook.

Threading is when your hair is ripped out of your eyebrows with a piece of sewing thread. It is widely done by Indian ladies at least all my threading gals have been from India so I assume it is popular there. It sounds like it really hurts but it doesn't and it's fast. Your eyebrows are shaped better that way I think.

hello Pastor, sorry about the germs from your child hood, My fav Shakespeare..... eing your slave, what should I do but tend Upon the hours and times of your desire? I have no precious time at all to spend, Nor services to do, till you require. Nor dare I chide the world-without-end hour Whilst I, my sovereign, watch the clock for you, Nor think the bitterness of absence sour When you have bid your servant once adieu; Nor dare I question with my jealous thought Where you may be, or your affairs suppose, But, like a sad slave, stay and think of nought Save, where you are how happy you make those. So true a fool is love that in your will, Though you do any thing, he thinks no ill.

Eesh! This is going to be a tough one. 1. I was mentally and sometimes verbally abused thruout my childhood by not only my parents and brother but also the kids at school. and people wonder why I have major anger issues 2. I had not one friend until I went to college. Even then, that one friend hasn't contacted me in over 3yrs. now. Only friend I has was my Black Lab which was enough for me. another reason why I prefer animals over people for company 3. Hubby and I almost got a divorce a few years ago. He finally relented to marriage counciling saying he knew he made a HUGE mistake in leaving us (daughter and I) and would do anything if I would accept him back. The road full of potholes is slowly smoothing out for us now. You got 3 out of me, Angel. That's all I can think of that noone here knows about me. I'm pretty open with my life since I have nothing to hide.

Blackbriar, I am glad your road is evening out. Been there done that, and the course you are taking is a lot harder than divorce. Marriage is work, this is not a joke. It takes a strong person to put the work in that it takes to make it work. I commend both you and your husband.

I saw our cat get hit by a car when I was 3. It was a 2 tone, blue and white car like a Chevy. then, when I was 6 I saw a friend's dog hit by a car in about the same place and the car looked about the same. I am a virgin. I don't like babies but 5-6 yr olds are okay. I hate celery, unless its cooked to mush, and then only barely tollerate it. I never quit playing "pretend."

Oh Angel I find this one really difficult but I will try 1 My first ever holiday outside of Uk and Ireland was when I was about 5 and visited relatives in Windsor, Ontario - it was a huge adventure and I have always wanted to go back! 2 When I lived in London and worked in a pub the guys couldn't get their minds around my name Morag and would call me Bobbie instead as my hair was cut in a bob - the sweeter ones used to call me their wild Scots rose! 3 At around that time I fell down a cellar - about 20 feet in all , scraped along the edges of the hatch, landed very awkwardly on a wooden step and then went hard onto the concrete floor - I was covered in blood , bruises and shaved off skin. I still have a large hole with onlhy the thinnest layer os skin covering the bone on my right shin 4 I love languages and used to be able to speak and read in German and Russian although I have forgotten most of it now - I would love to learn Spanish but I am too lazy 5 I used to be a bit of a rebel and have been a hairdressers model with every colour of hair you can imagine when I was younger!

i dont know what i have mentioned and not mentioned earlier...i am getting senile at 43... 1. i was born in scotland, raised in wv, and now live in california. 2. i have been a vegetarian since 90 or 91, even though i have always wanted to be a vegetarian and never liked meat, but my parents used to make me eat meat when i was little..i have wanted to be a vegetarian since i was 4 or 5 when i heard a sheep being slaughtered. my family used to raise sheep. and i thought they were pets and my friends. so, it felt like my friend was being killed and freaked me out. from that day on, i swore i will never eat sheep again or lamb. 3. i have a ba in social science from UC Irvine, Executive MBA from Webster University, and Graphics Diploma from Platt College. my novels i write tend to be sociological, psychological, anthropological and economics content, because that is how i think.. 4. i work out in the gym, a local and small gym across the street, between 10pm to 2am, to relax and unwind from working on my novels. 5. i am 43 years old but look like i am in my 20s...that is probably why i tend to relate better with younger people. i have a baby face and a small boned body that gives me a youthful look.
