How many weeks pregnant were you when you gave birth? Were you early late or did anyones baby manage to come on their due date?? I was induced on my due date (also my birthday 29th feb) with my first daughter and she was born the next day at 40 weeks and one day. My second daughter I was induced at exactly 38 weeks and she was born the same day I was induced.

I had my last baby 4 weeks early. She had a lot of trouble the first few days. Her lungs were not developed, although she weighed almost 8 pounds--and was a month early!!! God pulled her through and she will turn 3 on Sunday!!! :)

Im so glad she is ok now, my eldest although born full term wasnt breathing and spent time in NICU on CPAP as she was quite poorly, thankfully she also pulled through and just turned 4! Almost 8lbs at 4 weeks early wow imagine how big she would have been full term!

Let's see...#1 I was 40 weeks and 3 days, #2 I was 40 weeks and 5 days, #3 I was 39 weeks and 1 day, #4 I was 39 weeks and 6 days, #5 I was 41 weeks and 3 days (!!!) and #6 I was roughly 37-38 weeks (by dates I was actually 42 weeks exactly but based on his appearance at birth she guestimated that my cycle at the time of conception was off and he was 2-3 weeks early). It's funny because with six babies, I only covered three days of the week...two Monday babies, two Tuesday babies and two Friday babies...the Friday babies were almost the same exact time, 1:22pm and 1:28pm. The Monday babies were the same date, the 13th, just different months. And the Tuesday babies...had no similarities at all, lol total opposites except for the day of the week...one girl, one boy, one late night, one early morning, one really big, one really little...the hospital rooms they were born in were even across the hallway from one another.

My first one I had 8 days before my original due date. This one however, I have not been so lucky this far my original due date was April 21st. Then they moved it to the 19th. However, I STILL HAVE NO BABY!!! I think she just plans to stay in there til she is old enough to drive.

I'm pretty sure I was the standard 40 weeks for both of my sons. I think #1 may have come 3-4 days after my estimated due date, and for #2 I woke up when my water broke at about 4:00 a.m. the morning after my due date.

i was on scheduled CS so I gave birth at exactly 38 weeks. i was born on my 38th week and my husband was born on his 4oth week. This is according to our birth certificates. I think 40th week is the maximum number of weeks one can go. i also did not experience any labor pain, thank God!

My due date was Christmas eve and my daughter did not arrive. So they decided to give her over the weekend to show up. And, she did not. So they admitted me to the hospital and they induced. I gave birth that night via cesarean cause she and I had a fever and they couldn't risk waiting any longer. I had been in labor almost 24 hours before the surgery. I think she was right at forty weeks or slightly over.

My first son was born right on his due date. However, I had spent most of the day picking up shingles that my husband and dad had scraped off the roof of our house. I got home that evening and went into labor as soon as I laid down for the night. My doc thought that all that bending and lifting had probably started the labor. My second son, however, was 3 weeks late. His due date was March 4th and I finally forced the doc to induce labor on March 24th. He weighed 10 lbs when he was born, had long fingernails and hair halfway down his neck. He was most definitely well overdue! Now both sons and their wives are expecting babies of their own in the next few weeks.

I'm glad you forced them to induce with your second child. My best friend's step mom went past her due date and the doctors kept putting her off. She never went into labor naturally, and one day, the baby stopped moving. She had to deliver it stillborn. I think mothers should have the right to insist the baby be born on or near the due date to prevent unnecessary problems. Induction can be done safely now, with no harm to the baby. There's no reason to let it go so far past the due date.

I have a normal delivery with my first baby. I do not like giving birth to him in the hospital that'a why I choose a clinic. He's a healthy baby boy.

I gave birth to my son while I was still on the 36th-week in my pregnancy. He weighed 6 lbs and 15 oz. That was my first pregnancy. My OB told me that I could either go earlier or go later as expected for 1st time pregnancies.

Hey, I started having contractions at 29 weeks and delivered at 32 weeks. It was something I will never forget. Partly because my daughter stopped breathing and had to be transferred to another hospital (better able to care for a preemie).

I was 40 weeks and 1 day.I went in to be induced and I wasnt progressing. So they did an ultrasound to find out she was breech. They contemplated sending me home but I had gestational diabetes and was overdue. So I had to have a c section. She was born 4-15-08:)

I was due june 30, 2005 with my first daughter and i had her on July 2nd, and for my second i was due March 21, 2007 and had her March 25,2007. I wasnt induced or c- section. although the 4 days past due with my second daughter seemed much longer. so i was 40 weeks and 2 days with my first and 40 weeks and 4 days with my second.

Both of my girls came at 34weeks. My oldest daughter weighted in at 5 pounds 10 oz. My youngest daughter weighted 7 pounds 1.7oz. Everyone thinks I wont be able to ever carry a baby full term. I just hope I never have a baby any sooner then 32 weeks. I'd get really scared. That's what scares me the most is having the baby too early.

My first was an emergency C-section at 33 weeks and my second was 5 days early because we scheduled the C-section to be on his daddy's birthday. My first weighed 3#8oz and my second weighed 7#2oz and we joke that my second one doubled in size so if I should ever have another, it could weigh 14#. Oh, I hate the thought of that!
