Flight Black Box?

If the "black box" flight recorder is never damaged during a plane crash, why isn't the whole airplane made out of that stuff? (very good thinking)

Somebody copied this post word for word, they took out (very good thinking.) I am reporting it. Just thought you should know. And the reason why is it would be too heavy too fly.

In most of the air-crashes the tail part of the plane is not affected. so this so called black box is kept in the tail part can record the conversations going on in the cockpit. This will enable to know what was going on during critical situations.
