finders keepers

I find money all the time and I have a rainy day jar and that is where it will go. The worst is finding a pen after you wash the clothing that is a mess lol.

I would keep it for your efforts! LOL....I haven't found anything lately that is strange....not since the kids moved out! LOL....it's usually money or those darn kleenex I forget to take out of my pockets!

I couldn't keep the money I would have to fess up. I just can't do it. I have tried at times lol but I just had to tell that I found money. I guess I am just too honest.

Hi suehan, I had found comb and ball pen of my husband that left in the washing machine several times. Though I have always told him to check the pockets thoroughly before dumping his shirt and trousers into the machine, yet he still forgets to do so once in a while.

Woo-Hoo...lucky you!! When we had foster kids I was forever finding change in the machine...we also had a friend of the family that would come over and I'd constantly find wads of cash in the machine...I always practiced the age old finders keepers. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

If it a couple of pence, then I put it in the savings jar but if its a pound then I keep it! I do the washing so its mine, shows my boyfriend that if he did the washing from time to time, he may find some coins (which will prob be his since I dont put money in my pocket) I hate finding paper in pockets after you have washed them, I do check trouser pockets now as its a pain getting the soggy paper out of the pocket!! I havent found any strange things in pockets - not that I can remember anyway!!

Most of the times, the one's I find are papers. Sometimes spare change, coins and a small amount of money. I only wash my own clothes, so I don't have problems to keep or spend the money since it's also mine.. Sometimes I also forgot to clean and check the pockets and when the time comes that I am gonna wear that jeans or shorts, I could feel those dried up papers inside my pocket..
