I have noticed a lot of discussions from my friends do not come through on my alert until 24 hours later. sometimes as much as 72 hours later. I have also noticed you do not seem to get any money for replies to discussions after 24 hours. the money stays the same if you do not respond to discussions or start fresh discussions. Could this be a move on mylots part to save money?

Hello xboxboy!:-) I am having the same problem for a while. Sometimes, I receive alerts instantly and sometimes very late, but the most late that I have observed is within 24-48 hours or so. Though I don't know the exact formula but I think that timing has no bearing on earning as such. I have observed many a time that my total earnings would increase while my last day's earnings are same and then I see that a cent or two are added few days back. Usually, it is the day when I started a discussion to which I got more responses the last day. And, of course if one doesn't add responses and start new discussions, there won't be any increase unless the case is that a part of earnings was not included in last day's earnings because your participation was after cut off time.

Hmmm.. How can you tell? I'm sure there's a perfectly good explanation for that..

The emails we get have a time stamped on them as far as when the response was made or you can se the time the discussion was started in the discussion as well when you read them. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I haven't really noticed anything different except that my post number went down slightly. But, other than that, I haven't had any problem.

FRom my experience etc, seems we earn a penny or more for each 10 responses. I did an experiment and that's what I was earning anyhow. So a good quality filled discussion can earn a lot more than a regular short one without much to it. You earn for the responses all the time even when the discussion is old I've been told. They update earnings on and off all month so you may not see a change in any given period as well. Then at times you can litterally see the amount change each time you refresh the page. There has been a huge glitch as far as emails. Some days I don't get any at all. Then some days I get triple copies of some. Unreal. HAPPY ;OSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

This does not blow a hole in any therory. try to remember that things done today may not be added to your earnings for a few days even due to the way things are updated here. The update they do each morning is not from the previous day always. Some is and some isan't. I did this test over a months time to get a trued result. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Whoah really I didn't realise that! I know a lot of my friends last week didn't receive notification until about three days late and that some didn't even receive at all. I only received a dribble from certain ones even though all notifications are on. I thought we were paid for any discussions and responses no matter what the time factor. I receive responses from discussions I have placed a couple of months later sometimes. Ellie :D

gee, i getting confused with your information dear friend. do you mean there is no earning if we response to the discussion which already stated in mylot page for 24 hours? whats my experience, mylot still count our response no matter the discussion already longer than 24 hours in mylot. it makes change to my earning too so far. and about your statement that the money will stay the same if we don't response to discussion or start fresh discussion, i think its normal cause it means on that time you don't active so then why mylot should pay for inactivities of members? acually i want to hear for this matter more from you, dear friend

I have heard from a few of my friends that say they are not getting alerts when I post. I contacted Mylot about it and they never got back to me so I do not know what is going on.
