Gardening Achievements

I have been taking gardening seriously for around three to four months now. I have worked an average of one hour per day in my garden. Got not more than that to spare for my little garden. The idea is to grow my own food.
And I say it has been such a pleasure. I don't have that many plants, but each little green baby has now given flowers. My little rose bush has four buds on it. And there is such a splash of color around. Butterflies are actually getting attracted to my garden.
I guess I haven't really achieved my goals, but looks like I am sure on the way. I am getting my own mint and chillies now!
So, what are your garden achievements? Expert gardeners, do you have tips for an amateur?

Congratulations for your gardening achievements. My parents used to spend more than 8 hours a day in their garden. It's their way of livelihood. I hope to be in the gardening myself later! Keep up and have a wonderful day in your gardening endeavors.

Eight hours! Wow, wish I could do the same. I am really crazy about gardening. But I have absolutely no idea how to create the much-needed cash out of it.
