well, mostly anime are from manga, do you like it or you'll much prefer manga than the anime? For me, I much prefer manga, because it is more detailed and focus more on the story, unlike in anime which has fillers and ends it differently in manga, sometimes has a very nice ending, other times unsatisfactory ending like fruits basket. However, there are instances that I would prefer anime than the manga, like if the genre is action, I really like to see the moves/action better. What do you think? I really like to know your opinions, guys...:D

If the series has more actions involved, I guess I have to see it animated. For story wise, I really prefer the manga. I mean, there are just some things that mangas can present unlike the animation which often runs into alterations, prohibitions due to conforming for general consumption of viewers, but, those are the case when the anime comes from the manga. Vandread is an example of a series which started with the anime and later on followed with a manga counterpart. The manga counter part of Vandread explores more things that the anime series didn't show, even though the animation was the first thing between the two. I guess I still have to stick to manga, either way who ever started the series, be manga based anime or anime based manga. Some things just get more shown on manga than in the animated version which often goes with alterations with multiple reason.

if it's completeness of the story, i'll choose the manga version. it's great actualy to watch anime because you can see the manga characters come to life.

I like wichever came first. So if I read Bleach, I'd like it better than the anime, because there're no fillers XD but for Code Geass and a few others, the anime came first, so no fillers, meaning I like it better.

i prefer anime, though i read manga i still want to see the real action and how the creator portray the exact movements of the character... unlike in manga you cannot appreciate the movements that much. but in terms of the story indeed manga has a detailed story, and you can surely make understand the plot... actually both have advantages and disadvantages to make their products a best selling. what do you think if anime has all the good feature, will the manga would be salable? i don't think so.... hehehe

I prefer anime cause of the animations and stuffs. mangas are just black and white. But i agree with you that sometimes animes doesn't have a good ending in which manga would be better. so i guess both anime and manga has its ups and downs. :)

It really depends, like if the manga action scenes are well drawn enough for me to understand them. In Naruto and bleach, they're pretty nicely drawn so I don't need to waste my time watching the anime but in D.Gray-Man I don't exactly get what the people are doing sometimes so I watch the anime to help myself... but then of course there's no anime anymore so I'm left clueless sometimes

I guess it also depends on the genre just like you said. if its action or adventure, then its better to see it in animation. if its a love story, then its okay in manga. for me however, I prefer anime, of any genre. although I like reading mangas too. (i'm currently reading Koukou Debut) I like anime much better because I prefer to see the characters moving and "alive". the special effects are much better appreciated too in animes, even just a heart beating or a crash of a glass, unlike in mangas where you rely in your ability to read the wordings for a special effects like thud, badump, etc. and then, I prefer animes over mangas because there are theme songs, soundtracks, and background music which make the animes more alive. its good to relate a story with a song. its nice to watch a scene with a complimentary background music because you can feel the atmosphere of that scene better. like a scary scene complimented with a suspenseful nd eerie music.

There are certain animes which did not have roots in manga, but I still would want anime if not for the fillers and unnecessary scenes. You are right to say that manga focuses more on the story, the only drawback is that it is in black in white (unless it is a special) and the characters are still. So for me, it depends.

I prefer anime slightly more, but I also see the beauty with manga. More of the story is told, and things happen different from the anime (naturally). As already noted there are also different endings for some manga-anime combos. Kylie, also note that some anime and manga have their basis elsewhere like gaming and visual novels. In cases like that, its usually the original work that is the most detailed and the best interpretation of the creative work. With both of these, again the original ending can be different from the manga and anime. Most notably visual novels have multiple endings, so manga and anime adaptations barely adjust for this (some do endings as episodes but then settle on the one "true" ending which can lead to endless debate umongst fans...)

like what you had written, it's depend on the genre... if it is action, it's better to be in anime because you will clearly see the actions that they do... especially you can identified the things that are hard to identified in black and white drawings...

I prefer manga. I felt so relax to read, i enjoy the story and i like the style they draw. I don't really like the animate cause they don't come out the ending that i prefer.

I really prefer the manga more because it has no fillers and of course less commercials LOL. I love some anime versions but sometimes the real essence of the manga is lost most of the time.

I like manga better. There's more room for character development, thicker plots and lesser fillers. Just those three reasons can already justify my preference.

The best is anime cause you can watch it on how the fighter beats the enemy unlike manga. Manga just shows picture!

actually, it depends on what type of anime or manga it is. If it is just a typical romantic anime, i prefer it to be in manga. but when the plot is an action type, i prefer it to be in anime.
