I've been using Windows XP for almost 6 years now. I wanted to upgrade to Windows Vista but my desktop specifications won't allow me to. So far, I'm ok with Windows XP. For those who've tried using both, which one is better? I don't know if it's better for me to invest on upgrading my computer for me to be able to install Windows Vista. Please help me to decide. Not all that's new is worth trying right? Comments please. Thank you!

Hi, first of all it would help if u gave us ur computer specs. If ur computer is powerful enough then u should have used Vista without any problems. Other people in my family use Vista all the time and they have never had a problem in it, not even one crash. Check ur systems hardware. Also scan ur Vista for viruses, spyware, malware, and even registry errors. I doubt u have any due to Vista's new security features but there is a chance since it still is Windows. I will tell u about some of the new stuff on Vista. Vista was completely re written on the NT code so its a lot more stable than Xp since Xp was written on the NT and 9x code, that is why some old programs don't work with Vista. Vista has some new security features which have been present in Linux/Unix making it a lot more secure. In Vista they have also tried to remove the registry but couldn't do it completely because many windows software rely on it. The registry is the main reason spyware and viruses damage ur system. Vista as u all ready know has a nice aero interface and since it had DirectX 10 then all new games will work on Vista. Just check ur pc up and make sure its powerful enough for it and install all up dates and it should be fine. You actually think it isn't good because many idiots on the internet who probably can't even afford it are saying **** about it, don't believe them. I hope I helped. Good Luck and take care!

Windows xp its have a lot steadiness than vista, why i say this because i try vista and the first think i observe, vista dont accept my soundbord, and you will need to look for vista drivers for everything, and that make me angry. With windows xp i have stabilliti.Vista sucks!
