So im interested to know what peoples opinions are on the death penalty, do you believe that a person who has committed a horrible crime, such as killing someone, should be put to death or do they have the right to live? And if you believe they should live how do you think they should live the rest of their life. If you believe in the death penalty do you believe that they should be put to death just as their victims were killed?

My view is: an eye for an eye...well then the whole world would be blind.

I believe that anyone should at least get a chance for rehabilitation. If they commit a crime a second time then perhaps I would rethink my opinion

I think this is interesting topic. Many people are pro and many people are against it. Im somewhere in the middle. How do you decide who should be punished this way and for what? And how do you prove they did it without mistake? What if somebody innocent is found guilty? These things can happen. When you hear some of the stories, its unimaginable how could somebody commit something some of the crimes! If you can prove with 100% certainty, that I guess. But than is it really a punishment? Im not sure how it works, but if you get a needle, surely it's over for you very quickly and you don't suffer?

Yes I believe in it. I cant stand that so many people are off killing others and all they get is a slap on the hand and then have parol in just a few short years.
