I love many of his songs but one of my favourite songs is "I want you" That song reminds me of my youth, because there was a time where I used to listen to that song over and over. It also reminds of a pub where I have spent a lot of time. I haven't been there recently, but I know that the place still exists. One night someone played that song and it reminds me of the happiness I felt that night. Another song that I really like is "When the ship comes in", I have listened to that song many times, too.

I think that it would have to be "Bob Dylans 115th dream". I just get so happy when i hear that song. I noticed that some people had complained about his singing voice from the early albums in this discussion and i know that he isn't the greatest singer in the world but he has an original voice and who can deny that his voice is cozy as hell.

Great poet in the way of Leonard Cohen, but couldn't sing his way out of a paper bag until he recorded Lay,Lady,Lay. Low registers and long bridges and he'd finally come out of the recording studio a winner. Didn't last long though. He could never match that song in styling and sound and in my mind went back to being a great poet with a lousy singing voice. I like Janis Joplin better! LOL

I think all his songs are his best, without a doubt!

Iy's way too hard to pick a favorite, but "Knockin' on Heavens Door' could be close! And then, "I want you"

Holy crap this is a hard question since there are so many great songs! You know, I do not have favorite, but when I read this question, Ramona came into my head....Ramona come closer set softly your watering eyes.......I have no clue what he is actually saying. This is definitely a good song. I also really like Sad eyed lady since it looks into his sadness a bit. There are so many more!! How dare you ask this question. What is yours?

Very difficult to pick just one, but I've chosen "Tangled Up In Blue" from the Blood On The Tracks album. It's so poignant.

It is a really hard question, but I would have to say that my favorite Bob Dylan song wasn't even made famous by him. Jimi Hendrix version of "All along the watch tower" is arguably the best song ever. I enjoy Bob's version a lot, but something that Jimi did that just made it his. On a side note I was listening to some of Bob's son, Jacob, music the other day. The Dylan doesn't fall far.

Totally cliche but I love "Don't think twice, it's alright"
