I know gas is cheaper here in the U.S. But I am not too sure how much a liter really is.

It's 3.27 (and counting). The amazing thing is that there was still quite a bit of traffic early this morning. I was out there on my bike, riding in it. I wonder how expensive gas has to become before people stop driving?

It is terriable. You are doing the smart thing by riding a bike. I would ride one if I could, I have a very bad back.I have been disabled for over 22 years because of it. I can not stop driving completly but have slowed down a lot!!

When we got gas the other day we paid $3.35 a gallon but I'm glad we filled up when we did. We went out today and it's up to $3.47 at the cheap places and higher elsewhere. It's silly how much it is costing. The oil companies and gas companies are showing record profits. They should take some cuts here. Not to mention how much of those prices are federal and state taxes. They could reduce the tax, I'm not saying get rid of it although that would be nice, just reduce it a bit.

I think the federal tax is somewhere around $.40 a gallon and I know our state one is around that as well. That's quite a bit in tax over all.

You are right, someone needs to take a cut somewhere..As they say, "the rich get richer and the poor get poorer" That is what is happening right now!!They are talking about cutting the tax's out of gas for the summer months I hope they do, that would save us about 18 cents a gallon!!

our gas prices are rediculous here too. our prices is for the lowest is $3.36, and than for the highest is $3.46. It's like a .010 difference. I've never paid that high for gas in my life. What's lol people going to do if it gets up to $4.00 for regular gallon in the summer? They are talking about it going up that high. The dang war, and everything is what's making gas so high and rediculous. Sad though, very sad.

You are right the prices for gas are rediculous. I really do not know what we as people are going to do as they keep getting higher. I do believe that they will reach the $4.00 range by summer.

I live in Oklahoma, in our town gas is up to 3.29, but theres another place where its still 3.19. There is a town 20 miles away from us and its 3.32. Its supposed to get up to 4.00 a gallon by summer, if thats the case I don't think we'll be doing much traveling.

Am in Southern Alberta, and i think the last time i checked price gas was around $1.15 - $1.20 CDN per Litre. Its unbelievable, and crazy. Especially since Alberta has oil! We should have lower gas prices

Here in the Uk unleaded petrol(gas)costs 109.9p (nearly £1.10) which converted into us$ is approx $2.20per liter which is approx $8.36 per gallon, considering that nearly 60% of this is tax i think it is an absolute disgrace - car owners in the uk pay V.A.T. (value added tax @ 17.5%) for everything, Road Tax - £110 for 1.4L engine or less(approx.$220) per year, and 60% tax on petrol absolutely shocking.

Gas in the city I live in is higher than out of town. It is 3.69 in the city where I live. You go out of town it runs about twenty cents cheaper every place else. Than you go over to St. Louis and it is about twenty cents difference. We live about forty miles from St. Louis and since my husband smokes we go over to St. Louis to get his cigerettes and fill up the car at the same time. Cigerettes are also cheaper in St. Louis than in Illinois.

in my country, Indonesia, the price for petrol is Rp. 4.500 or approximately US$ 0.5 per litre.. It's cheap isn't it compared to your country... However it is considered quite expensive here.. The government subsidy the petrol price, if not then we will never afford to buy petrol... Besides, our genneral income is not as high as in your country...
