Hillary and Barack have big plans for America! Their plans involve spending a great deal of money and more importantly, YOU'RE money! I know they both say they are going to cut taxes for everyone except the top money earners but think about this; can you really "tax" the top 1%? If you do have you gained anything? The "evil top 1%" as the democrats would have you believe are the ones providing most of the jobs here in America! Just when was the last time you saw someone making 40 to 50 thousand dollars a year create a new job for someone else? I make around 45K without overtime and believe me I can't afford to employe anyone doing the simplest of tasks! Next on the topic of "making the top 1% pay" is fairness! One question; did I go to sleep last night and wake up in Russia or China? This is America, land of EQUAL opportunity and to even think someone should be taxed at a higher rate because they have had the "audacity" to try harder, work harder and work longer to create their own success is ludricrous! I would love to be pulling i a million dollars a year but I just don't know if I want to ,ake the sacrifices necessary to do that and believe me if you make BIG money there are BIG sacrifices! I personally prefer HR25 in the house of reprasentative right now which is the Fair Tax bill. I won't go into it here but you can read about it at; www.fairtax.org

It is not that you went a sleep and woke up in Russia or China last night, it was more of a slow killing. You have probably heard this but I will say it just in case anyone else has not. When you are boilling a frog you do not put it right into boilling water, you put into cool water and the slowly warm the water. We are the frog. We first excepted new taxes for better roads. Then new taxes for better schools. Then new taxes for police and firefighters. Then they had you if you will agree to a new for that you will except a new tax for anything. The farmers are suffering, people are homeless, the uninsured, new spending requires new taxes. Spending cut are never a option, actually spending controls are never a option. Every year the federal budget goes up, never down. We can do without, government never. Sales Tax will never be allowed because governemnt would lose control over your pay check, and your work. Under the current system you do not own your work.

Gewcew, I have a feeling you are probably right about the government not allowing us to take back control of our own hard earned money but I guess it doesn't hurt to dream a little!

Are you talking about a business tax or "income tax"? If it is an "income tax" you don't have to pay that, it says so right there in the tax book. When you sign a w-2 form you are volunteering to give up a percent of what you earn. But you have a choice NOT to pay this tax. Don't volunteer... People all over America complain about this tax but yet they just keep on giving them permission to take it out of their pay. They are the ones who are signing their money away. Now here is the worse part about that...The USA government does NOT get this money that has been labeled "Income Tax" it is deposited in a Privately owned bank(Federal Reserve Bank) This bank loans money to our government (with an interest) to run our country. This is where our debt begins and it rises every second of every minute, hour, day, week, month, year, and for many years to come until someone gets in the White House and puts a stop to these thieves. I don't see that happening anytime soon. The more money you make the more loopholes you can use if you have a productive business. I'm all for HR25 if they can do what they say. But I can't see how they can bring about a new tax "law" when the one we have isn't even a law, just a bunch of codes. The Fair Tax: * Enables workers to keep their entire paychecks * Enables retirees to keep their entire pensions * Refunds in advance the tax on purchases of basic necessities * Allows American products to compete fairly * Brings transparency and accountability to tax policy * Ensures Social Security and Medicare funding * Closes all loopholes and brings fairness to taxation * Abolishes the IRS

If you look at the US Census figures the top 20% of the American Tax payers pay 90% of the taxes. Who are the top 20%, the people making $75,000 or more a year. The bottom 20% make $20,000 or less per year and consume 50% of the the government social programs. Who is in the top 20%? The wealthy business men and women, entertainers, sports figures and married couples who file jointly in such jobs as teachers, firemen, police, factory workers in other words most Americans who have some training beyond high school and both husband and wife are working. Taxing the wealthy means taxing most working families in this country. Not renewing the Bush tax cuts will jump taxes about 10%. The Alternative Minimum Tax (a Democrat law) will soon effect over half of the American workers and will add several hundred to several thousand dollars to you taxes. It is time to tell ALL politicians that it is time to reduce spending and reduce taxes.
