We are moving...it is the worst thing in the world.I have to pack the house up...we are a family of 7...so you can imagine how much stuff there is...and after we get to move into a new house, than unpack....organize etc...yuck..I hate it. The worst part is,I haven't even found a place yet...we have to be out of our current house on the 1st...and haven't found a new house yet. It is tough to get a rental with an eviction on your record...it seems like, that everybody does credit checks etc. anymore...we make lots of money,so paying the rent isn't the issue..the eviction is...it is so unfair...the only got into this situation, because, me husband was laid-off and unemployment took almost 1 month to start,I wasn't working at the time...because,I had a baby..but they didn't want to work with us... Life is so unfair sometimes....

We are moving at the end of May. DH just lost his job out of the blue so, we are scrambling to find him a new one ASAP. Even though places run your credit, if you have good credit and good rental history, but one eviction and an explanation to why you were evicted, they will sometimes over look the eviction.

Well,to make matters worse...my DH owes back child support, from a previous relationship...he is paying on it..but the amount is still high...and it comes up in his credit report...I have had some landlord turn their heads and say on..even tho,he is paying on it.

How did that end up on his credit report? Did she try to get money from him using the state system of enforcement? I am just wondering because I put paperwork in on my ex because he owes a lot of money and doesn’t see why the state set child support at the amount they did and “no child can use up that much money in one month”.

I'm sorry to hear of your families plight. I hope that you were able to find a place to live...
