On October 20, 2005, the on-budget debt of the United States Government went over $8 trillion. This is an increase of well over $2 trillion since January, 2001.
In 2007, it went over $9 trillion.
The Gross National Debt
$9,377,502,670,132
Procrastination kills. The clock is ticking.
The dollar is depreciating. The politicians are lying.
The government is going broke.
Proof: Watch this video
The video is kind of long, but interesting, definitely something to think about...

Wow, that is quite scary. It really sounds like we are in trouble. It is time we quit being lied to.

Maybe they just want to bury their heads in the sand and act like it is not happening.

I think you are right. I think many people fell if they dont talk about it, or dont think about it, it will not effect them.
But we are seeing it. The US will be in a recession. And I think it will be very soon! I heard on the news today that places like Sams club are begining to ration rice foods. You can only buy so much, then they cut you off!

All those 0000's - it just makes a mockery of money doesn't it. You think of all those ("3rd world") countries that have a debt and can't even pay the monthly interest installments and then you look at the size of the US's debt. I wish they could just wipe everything out and start all over again but I suppose that would just cause the financial markets to crash. Politicians are good at lying or at least bending the truth!
Thanks for sharing this with us.
